Chapter 14

Tae's POV

I woke up by the sunlight shining into my room. I seat up and stretched a bit before heading towards the bathroom to prepare myself.

After preparing, I headed downstairs to make breakfast for the 3 of us. I decide to cook a simple breakfast for today. Scramble egg with bacon and French toast.

While I'm still cooking the bacon, I heard footsteps behind me.

"Wow Tae, I didn't know that you could be so early." Jiminie said from behind.

"It's not my first time waking up so early okay.." I said while eyes still focusing on the bacon and chuckling.

"Is Jae Eun up yet??" Jiminie asked again.

"I'm not sure, maybe you go check on her??" I said, putting the bacon on the plates.

"Okay." Jiminie answered and walked away.

Jimin's POV

I walked upstairs to Jae Eun's room. I knocked on her door a few times but I got no respond.

I opened the door quietly and head in.

When I head in, I heard the water running in the bathroom.

I knocked on her door. But I heard no respond. I knocked the door again, this time louder. But I still got no respond.

I thought she could not hear me, so I decided to seat on her bed to wait for her. But I had this bad feeling in my heart but I just shrugged it off.

But after a good 15 minutes passed, she hasn't come out from the bathroom. I got really worried, I banged on the door since it's locked.

After banging(don't get the wrong idea, I'm innocent.) for a few times, Tae came up to the room.

"What happened??" Tae asked.

I told him everything. After hearing he sighed.

"I also had this bad feeling from just now. But I just ignored it." Tae said.

"Let's stop talking and break the door down." I said.

We banged the door few more times and it has open.

We quickly rush inside and past the shower curtain.

We had come to face a unconscious Jae Eun in the bathtub with her wrist bleeding non-stop. I saw a razor beside her and a huge envelop on the sink.

"Call the ambulance now!!" Tae shouted. I quickly head towards her bedroom and grab her phone to call the ambulance.

After a few minutes, the ambulance came.

They put Jae Eun on the stretcher and brought her to the hospital.

Since there's only one person that can be in the ambulance with Jae Eun, I asked Tae to go with Jae Eun first while I need to take something.

He quickly hopped into the ambulance and the ambulance drove off.

I head back into the house and take the envelop that's on top of the sink.

I took it and sat on Jae Eun's bed to read it.

When I open, there's 7 letters inside. I take all out and there's name indicated on every paper.

I found mine and I read it out loud.

Dear Jiminie,

If you read this letter means I'm not here anymore. Don't be crying over me cause I don't like seeing you cry.

You've been my best friend for I don't know when since you know that my memory is bad HAHAHA.

I know that you like Mi Rin and Mi Rin also has a crush on you. And of course, you're her bias. HAHAHAHA!! Get to know Mi Rin more and approach her first. She's a shy girl.

And of course I need to thank you for being such a dork and good friend to me.

Whenever I'm feeling down or angry, you would always want me to share my problem to you so I won't bottle up my problems.

Whenever I'm happy, you would also be happy with me. You would also do all the silly dance with me although you are an idol.

When your fangirls bully me, you would always help me or stand up for me, not caring about you reputation.

I'm glad to meet you and have you in my life. I wished you all the best for wooing Mi Rin. And take care of yourself and Mi Rin too.

I fold the paper back with tears streaming down my face like waterfall.

I quickly head towards my car and drive off to the hospital.

Please be okay Jae Eun, we need you.
