Romeo's POV
It's been a month since Sting has been interfering with me and Wendy, and after hearing that his girlfriend had kissed me there hasn't been any sign of them at all. I honestly think that I'm falling in love with Wendy; she's so funny, and witty, and beautiful, and so full of love for everyone she knows. I actually think I'm in love with her, but after being together for 5 months, I don't want to scare her off.
It's Monday morning, and my dad shouts me from downstairs.
"I'm heading off to work!"
"Good Luck!" I cheer from the top of the stairs.
"You okay Romeo, you look very pale."
"I just feel a bit hot that's all."
"One minute." He bounds up the stairs, and places his hand on my forehead. "You've got a fever son. Do you want me to stay and look after you?"
"I'll just get some sleep Dad, I'll be okay on my own."
"Okay. I'll be home at 5. I'll pick up some pizza for dinner."
"See you later Dad." And he heads out the door instantly. I hop slowly down the stairs and get myself some water and medicine. Just as I got settled on the sofa, a gentle knocking made me annoyed.
"Romeo?" A curious voice called out, urging me to the door.
"Oh Wendy." I sneezed. "Good morning."
"Are you okay? I noticed you weren't waiting for me this morning."
"I have a fever. You should get to school."
"I can't just leave you here by yourself." She smiled weakly.
"I can't let you miss school."
"One day won't hurt."
"What about Natsu?" I let her in.
"He's on a school trip with other Seniors."
"Oh that's today."
"Yeah he won't be back until a few days from now. I think Wednesday."
"Oh."
"Will you let me take care of you then?"
"I've got no choice have I?"
"Absolutely not Mister." She giggled. "Now where do you keep your flannels?"
"In the bathroom. Upstairs to your left."
"Thanks." She kissed my cheek, before skipping up the stairs. I lock the front door behind me, and I sit back down in the sofa, picking up a book to read. Wendy emerges with a flannel, dripping with water.
"Lie down." I did as she said. She brushed my fringe back and set the flannel on my forehead. "Now rest, while I make you some breakfast."
"Thank you Wendy." My eyes flutter shut.

Wendy's POV
He looks so cute when he's sleeping. My boyfriend that I'm in love with is so fucking adorable. How the hell did I get a boy like him?
I wander into his kitchen, and search through his fridge and cupboards to make a nutritious breakfast for Romeo. I try to make the least amount of noise as I can whilst using the stove and cutting board, which I successfully achieve. After a good 45 minutes I plate up his breakfast and place it on his small dining table. Now that I have the chance, I realise that his house is quite homey. A lot of photographs of a happy family sit along a wall with a window in the middle of them all; I trace my fingers along each frame, smiling at Romeo's happy life, but pause at the last picture: Christmas Day, with my family eating dinner. Continuing to smile, I gently wake up Romeo and point at the dinner table, which he eagerly went to an ate quickly.
"Thanks Wendy."
"Your welcome Romeo."
"This is why I love you so much." He grinned, but became stunned after realising what he said.
"Did you just say?" I stuttered.
"I said nothing." He froze up.
"You said you love me?" My hands are shaking.
"No I didn't. I didn't say that I love you."
"Yes you did. You did, you did!"
"No I didn't. I don't love you."
"You don't?" I try not to cry just in case he's lying.
"Well, that's not true. I just don't want to scare you off that's all."
"Umm. Do you need any medicine, do you need to sleep?"
"I scared you didn't I."
"Yes, but I was worried that you didn't love me back." I teared up.
"You love me." He stood up from his chair.
"Of course I love you."
"Wendy I love you." He walked over and hugged me tightly.
"I love you too Romeo."
