Epilogue

Romeo's POV

Only one more year of college left and so far the summer holidays are going great. I've been hanging with some new friends and old friends: some were old enemies mind you.

"Romeo get your ass down on this beach!" Sting yelled at the top of his lungs, waving like a lunatic.

"Jesus fucking Christ!" I moan walking down onto the beach.

"You can hit him." Yukino stated, sipping on her smoothie.

"Babe." Sting whined and I kicked him in the stomach.

"Ouch." Xander winced looking at the both of us. His red shaggy hair moving in the wind. I met Xander in my mythical history class.

"She said hit, not kick." Lara laughed punching my arm when I sat down. I met Lara through Xander, and they were a cute couple.

"Couldn't resist myself, you get those feelings don't you." She blushed and averts her eyes to the sand.

"Shut it Romeo." She whispered, still blushing hard.

"Aww, she's blushing!" Amara walked up to us. "Who said what?"

"Nobody said anything!" Lara squealed putting a hand on my mouth.

"Sure they didn't." Amara raised a purple eyebrow and sat next to Yukino. I met Amara because she lived across the hall from me.

"Where's Guy?" Sting asks looking around.

"I'm here, I'm here!" The orange haired boy panted holding onto his knees. "Sorry I'm late, my motorcycle broke down so I had to push it to a service station and then wait and hour for them to fix it."

"Guy you're always late. It's fine." Sting rolled his eyes as Guy sat down. I met him in Biology.

"Did you hear the news of Crocus College being burnt down to a crisp?" Guy asked, pinching some crisps.

"Wait seriously." I gasped. "Who did it?"

"The Head Master was smoking and left his cigarette lit. The school had bad fire safety so it slowly burnt down. No one was injured."

"They're going to be trying to get into other schools aren't they?" Lara pointed out.

"Meaning our school." Yukino smiled at the thought. "New people to meet."

"A kind heart." Sting kissed her on the cheek. Their relationship wasn't toxic any more. Actually it was quite a happy one.

"We'll have to see when we go back to school then." I smile and take some crisps. "I don't want it to be anybody I know. I lost touch with all my old friends."

"Speaking of one isn't that Wendy?" Sting pointed to a bluenette bouncing playing volleyball with some of her friends.

"Shit!"

Wendy's POV

"We win!" Me, Erza, Penny and Lisanna cheer as we hug each other.

"You always win." Kinanna moaned.

"What's your secret?" Laki panted for breath.

"Good teamwork!" Erza beamed and we strolled to an open spot. We sat down and got comfortable.

"So which school have you lot gotten into?" Lisanna asked as she was already going to Mist College.

"I got into Mist College!" I beam and Lisanna hugs me.

"Girls?" Lisanna asked again.

"I got into Justified College!" Laki grins. She was always the smart one.

"Oh My God, me too!" Penny high fived her. I got to know Penny through Laki. She was so bubbly.

"Rosanna?" I ask.

"I got into Stardom Academy! They let me in!" She squeals as she shows us the email. I met Rosanna in my Biology class. She was always falling asleep so it was my job to keep her awake.

"Wait you got into Stardom?" Candice asked, her bubblegum pink hair being combed to one side by the wind. "I got into Stardom also!"

"Me too!" Kinanna grinned as they gave each other a mini hug.

"So Erza hows your year been at Mist? This is your final year isn't it?" Lisanna asked, pulling out some crisps.

"Yeah I had to take a few extra years. After this Makarov said I could become a teacher at Fairy Tail if I get the diploma!"

"That's amazing!" I smile and pinch a few crisps.

"Doesn't Romeo go to Mist?" Kinanna brought up the question.

"He does." I stayed sourly.

"And if I'm not mistaken. That's him over there!" She pointed to the purple haired boy with a few familiar faces.

"Excuse me, but I'm going to hit him now like he said I could!"

"Back-up?" Erza raised a red eyebrow.

"Just Erza!" We linked arms and marched over to their group of happy friends. Erza kept telling me to hit him as hard as I could.

"Romeo!" Sting hissed to the boy who had his back turned to us.

"It's nice to see you and Yukino are still a couple. You always were cute together." I smile kindly and Romeo turns around. He immediately stands up.

"Hi Wendy." He said nervously.

"Well Romeo you've grown up even more handsome then you were." I smile, as he blushes. I wasn't lying either.

"Thanks! You've grown up very beautifully." He smiled, rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'll be seeing you around Mist College, won't I?" I raise a blue eyebrow.

"You got into Mist?" He looks shocked.

"So I will be seeing you around." Erza lets go of my arm, and I stretch my arms up to the sun, acting like I'm tired.

"I guess you will be." He genuinely smiled. Bastard.

I give my knuckles a quick crack, and give him a good punch around the face. "Bastard!" I spit at him.

"What was that for?" A red haired boy raised his voice.

"Did he never tell you the story of breaking up with me?" I batted my eyelashes innocently. "He left me a letter! And he said if I was to see him again, I could hit him!" I almost cried.

"Romeo." Yukino tutted.

"I loved him and he loved me. People should try and make relationship work! But assholes like Romeo don't!" Me and Erza begin to walk away, but someone grabs onto my wrist. They spin me around, their lips being pressed onto mine.

"God I missed you Wendy." Romeo laughed, cupping my face.

"What do you want Romeo?" I hiss, trying not to make my heart melt.

"Another chance. We'll be attending the same school and I don't want it to be awkward!" He kissed me again, and I kissed him back.

"One more chance." I whisper as we stop kissing. I slip him my new phone number and walk off to my friends. He doesn't deserve another chance but I'll let it happen. Because I still love him. Maybe it'll turn out for the better.

In the future Romeo and Wendy get married and run a successful patisserie. They have an only child which they called Lily. So in a way, them meeting on the beach did make it turn out for the better. ;)!
