Alex's pov

I knew I fucked up. Jack is never even going to look in my direction ever again. I can't believe I'm so dumb.

"Alex?" Vic put his tanned hand on my shoulder. I as quick to shrug it off. "Alex? Are you going to ignore me now cause that skunk haired kid saw us kissing. What am I not allowed to kiss my boyfriend?" my mouth fell open and I looked at him.

"Who said we were dating?" Vic's large eyes became sad.

Victor Fuentes. Another one of my students, he wasn't as cute as Jack but things happened. Vic is really nice and all but I just wanted to be with Jack.

"well the other night when you were kinda, inside of me, it seemed like we were a thing." He smiled at his own words.

"Let's face it Vic, you were desperate and I was horny. That night meant nothing." I kept a straight face even when a tear fell from his eye, I watched him run out of the room. I pushed my body back into the spinney chair, sighing, and wishing Jack didn't despise me.

Vic's pov

I ran out of Alex's classroom with tears streaming down my face. It was after school so the hallways were mostly empty. I slide down the wall at the end of the hallway and continued to sob into my hands.

"Vic?" A female voice made me jump. Looking up from my hands stood my ex best friend. She kneeled down to me. "Why are you crying?"

"Why do you care?" I snapped trying to sound angry but choked on a sob.

"Dude we were best friends forever when you upset it hurts me. Even though I hate you for multiple reason at the moment I still care." Lauren said patting my back. I smiled at her and whipped a tear from my face. She opened her arms making me jumping into a hug with her we fell over as she tightened her arms around me.

"I'm sorry for everything." I whispered into her hair.

"You better be!" she chuckled into my ear, " I noticed you've been sitting by yourself at lunch want to sit wit us tomorrow, and you can apologize to all of then." She said in a question format, but I knew Lauren well enough to know it wasn't a question I didn't have a choice about sitting with her. I nodded quickly and hugged her again.
