Running From Lions Never Felt Like Such A Mistake

Jack's pov

After I left the guys at the table I quickly walked to Alex's class room. I really liked Alex but now that I know other people know about Alex and I we have to be careful. I trust Lauren and the rest of them not to tell anyone. I entered the room and closed the door behind me.

"Hey Jacky." Alex's voice rang through the room. I smiled at the young man sitting behind the desk. "I missed you today." He frowned. Butterflies filled my stomach at him.

"aw I missed you too." I smiled back at him.

"I saw you made new friends." He said getting away from his desk and walked over to me, I was still standing by the door. He grabbed my hands and dragged me to his desk. Alex jumped a little and sat on the papers cluttering the desk forcing me to stand in between his legs. Both of our faces were quite close. I mumbled something as I focused on his lips. Alex pushed his head just a little more so he was kissing me. We kissed for a little while longer before we felt like we needed air.

"I like you." He smiled.

"I like you too." I let out quietly.

"Now go gossip about us to that little group you have." He winked. I walked out of the classroom backwards not breaking eye contact with the teacher. On my way out I bumped into a guy with longish brown hair and who seemed to be one of his students and quickly apologized. I walked down the hallway trying to find anyone I noticed the teenage girl standing with her back to hallway looking into her locker. I moved to her as fast as I could then poked her breaking her out of her trance.

"Rubi!" I shouted I need to talk to them about this and I knew Rubi would be able to get Matt and Lauren here quickly if she needed to.

"Oh hey Jack." She beamed at me. My face had a straight look glued onto it.

"I have lost to inform you guys on. Do the thing to get Matt and Lauren here please." She looked at me strangely for second before pulling out her phone.

"Jeeze dude she gave you her number, but whatever." She tapped a few things the pressed it to her ear. I could hear a muffled 'yo' which indicated Lauren had answered. "Let's go to your house I think Jack got the teach between his fingers and wants to talk about." I heard the chuckling from the phone and then some form of agreement causing Rubi to hang up her phone. "let's go." She grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of the almost empty building.

Rubi and I soon arrvied to Lauren's house.

Lauren and Matt stood outside. Matt waved at us, while Lauren held a morbidly obese cat in her arms smiling.

"ALOHA!" She shouted at us while we walked up her drive way. "This is my cat, she's my pride and joy." Matt pushed Lauren in the house and we followed behind. After she let the cat go Lauren walked us to her room. "So tell us what happened." Lauren smiled as she sat criss crossed on her bed fingers intertwined with Matts. Rubi clapped her hands together when she sat on the floor and pushed her back onto the bed. I kinda just stood there getting ready to tell them. I took a shaky sigh.

"alright so after he talked to me at lunch he told me to go to his classroom, which I did. Then he was all like 'I missed you'. " I impersonated Alex horribly. "And them we did the face thing with the lips and yea, it was nice but thhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeen when we pulled apart he said he liked me, and now I think we're gonna do the lip thing a lot more." The three people listening we all smiling ear to ear.

Rubi went on about how cute it was and Matt made the usually comment. Lauren remained silent as she moved her body to the window and stared. I could hear a faint gasp escape her lips. Matt left her bed and put his hand on the small of her back.

"What's wrong babe?" He asked looking out the window. After he gasped and turned around making eye contact with me I knew something was up. Lauren closed her blind and laughed quietly.

"He-he I don't like how bright the room was and Matt didn't either so that's why we gasped." She quickly came up with an excuse, I walked towards her swiftly. Lauren put her hands on my chest trying to push me away. "No really, we're vampires! Please Jack." She pleaded her hands we still on my chest but with me being twice her size I gently pushed her to the side. I opened the closed blinds and gasped like the other two.

"I am so sorry Jack." Lauren stammered.

I was sorry too, because outside of her window stood Alex. His arms were wrapped around another boy. There lips were smashed together. I didn't know who the other person was until they pulled apart. It was the boy I ran into after leaving Alex's class today.

Alex just kissed another person.

Am I the only person who finds it weird? I hope not.
