The next morning,Rocky slipped out before I woke up. My alarm blasted out, and I cursed loudly,forgetting that I didn't turn it off the night before. Jamie groaned from her bed,putting her pillow over her head.
I turned the alarm off and turned over,going back to sleep. We didn't wake up until two that afternoon . I sat up,looking in the mirror at my hair,all over the place. I should really start wearing a scarf. I took a shower first and Jamie followed. I put on some sweatpants and a t-shirt with a grey and black lotus flower on it. I put my hair into a neat bun on the top of my head,and put on some simple diamond stud earrings.
"You look lazy." Jamie said,putting on a bright red sundress that hugged her body.
"And you don't." I replied. She combed her long straight hair down and slipped a pair of shades on top of her head before putting on some cute black sandals. I stuck to my Nikes.
"Get your stuff. We're going to the mall." She smiled brightly,and I shook my head.
"Pleeeeaaasee? I just need like three more outfits for the trip."
"Fine. I need a swimsuit anyways."
She cheered and I made a face. We made our way down to her car. I checked my phone and saw I had a text from Roc.
Didn't want to wake you.. Forgot I left the dorm unlocked..
I giggled.
It's fine, I enjoyed my sleep anyway

I chuckled,and Jamie looked over at me.
"What you laughing at?"
"Rocky and Keith. Oooo this my song!" I turned up the radio as Broken Clocks came on. Jamie swatted my hand away and clicked the radio off.
"So about this Keith situation..." she glanced at me, smirking.
"What about it?"
"Girl don't play with me."
I sighed. "Well they're roommates.. plus Rocky has no idea we used to date and I plan on keeping it that way."
She was silent for a minute. "I noticed y'all disappear from the table around the same time last night."
"I ain't got no timeee just burning dayliiiight" I ignored her, turning the radio back up. She turned it off again, laughing.
"Stop that."
I laughed. "Nothing happened. We just talked and shit."
"Mhmmm."
"Seriously. And he asked how I was and all that."
She side eyed me. "You still love him." She commented knowingly.
Before I could protest she parked her car and grabbed her things, seeming to drop the conversation.
