Jayce already had a plan.
He had started on it too just a few weeks ago.
And it involves what Alyssa's mother, Anna, would never expect, and possibly fear the most; her cellphone.
"I've already texted her before." Jayce began with a smirk. "She was on a date with your dad. I couldn't stand it, I was so pissed off at her lies."
"How did you...text her?" My curiosity got the better of me.
"Well, like I said, it's a very different world I'm in compared to yours. All I had to do was focus my energy real hard. There are many ways to pass a message to a living being. That was one of them." Jayce began to explain.
"Can you tell me other ways?" I tried to cloud my growing need.
"Well..." Jayce begins, but then stops and stared at me hard. "Ronnie..." he sighs.
"What?" I frowned in confusion.
"I can look into your mind. I don't even need to half the time I was with you for a long while. I fell in love with you," he gives me a soft smile. "I know you."
"Jayce..."
"Dying won't help you now —" so he could read my mind after all.
"But I can be with you! And I can help you exact out revenge!" I blurt quickly.
"Ronnie, no. We need you alive. You are my bridge to the world, Ronnie. The only reason why I am here is to fulfill the promise I made to you. If you die, my promise is pointless and I will have to move on to the afterlife. Then what happens to Anna and nun-witch?" Jayce begins to reason with me and I nod in understanding.
"So you're going to text her to scare her?" I asked.
"You're going to have to let me document my missions in that diary of yours." Jayce pointed a finger at the book in my hand before he chuckled in a low tone. "And what do you mean by 'scare her'? I'm going to terrify the soul out of that hag."

LONG TIME NO SEE PEOPLE!!! I'm looking forward to picking this book up and finally completing this series!
I honestly can't wait for you guys to find out what happens in the end. I will most definitely try to update daily — I think I'll be having a lot of free time on my hands these coming few months. I also plan on picking up on my other books, so consider me committed again!
