I did research on a way to bring one of my siblings back to life. I learned about human transmutation from a woman named Izumi Curtis and from alchemy books.
I found out the calculations and that it is forbidden. But, I decided to take the risk. I really wanted to see my dead twin's smile once again.
I did the instructions from the human transmutation spell all correctly, but I soon discovered that I collected the wrong body parts.
Next thing I knew, I was attacked by a small amount of black arms and managed to see the Truth. It was full of all memories and helped me understand alchemy a little better than I originally thought. I was okay until I got back to reality.
I noticed that my right arm was completely gone from my body. The thing that I had transmuted was not even human; it was a disgusting creature that never should have been created in the first place.
