Chapter 1

Zack's POV

I got out of the car with my dad yelling things while I walked to school. He's so controlling, I can't take it.

"Hey Zack".

"WHAT"?!

I turned around in anger and saw Freddy. Guilt rushed over me.

"Sorry Freddy".

"Your dad being controlling again"?

"Yeah, he's always saying that I have to be the best at everything or why aren't you like your brother. It's frustrating"!

He mumbled something under his breath.

"What"?

"Nothing".

I was still curious but I decided to leave it alone. We walked into school and went to my locker.

"I mean, why can't he just accept me for who I am, I'm not like-".

I turned and saw Freddy staring at Summer. As usual.

"Dude, just go over there and ask her out".

"I can't, what if she says no".

"Then at least you tried then move on".

We went over to Summer.

"Hey Zack, hey Freddy".

"Hey Summer, Freddy wants to ask you something".

She smiled at Freddy.

"Summer I, would you, um...".

He ran away. Summer looked confused.

"His twin sister, broke her...lung".

I ran after Freddy. I found him at his locker and gave him a look.

"Don't look at me like that".

"What, are you going to run away", I joked.

He looks cute when he's sad. Wait, WHAT?!

"You'll get her soon dude".

Then Rachel, Freddy's twin sister, came up to us.

"Boys".

"Rachel".

"Let me guess what happened, you went to ask Summer out, then you got scared and ran away".

"She's good".

"No, I saw it, and laughed".

"Let's just go to class".

"Okay".

In Mr. Finn's class

"In conclusion, gravity is...gravity. How much time do I have left"?

"55 minutes".

"Seriously"?

"Yeah".

"Oh, um".

Principal Mullens came in.

"Thank God...that a beautiful lady has come in".

"Oh Mr. Finn".

We rolled our eyes.

"The school is having a dance. Tootles".

She left.

"Maybe we can convince principal Mullens that School Of Rock can perform again".

"But we need to write a song".

"Zack and I can do it".

I gave her a look. Then she remembered what happened last time.

"Never mind".

"Well, until we have a song, Clark is the entertainment".
