jaelin shuffled in her sleep and cuddled up to the sleeping boy next to her unknowingly. realization hit her and she sat up quickly.

she got up careful to not wake guanlin up and went into the kitchen.

"good morning." her mom said, pouring coffee into a cup. her mom poured creamer into the cup and stirred it.

"u-uh.." jaelin started, awkwardly. "you guys looked so peaceful so i didn't want to wake you." her mom smiled.

"are you going to work?" she asked. her mom nodded and grabbed the keys off the counter. "I won't be back until late again so don't do anything stupid." her mom teased.

jaelin smiled awkwardly and her mom handed her money. "there's no food so you can use this for take out." she said before walking to the front door.

jaelin followed her mom and watched as she pulled out of the driveway.

usually her mom is "anti boy" which confused jaelin the most.

jaelin made her way back to the living room quietly.

"guanlin." she said poking his cheek. he turned on his side and she sighed. "im gonna push you off the couch." she said.

he turned and looked at the girl tiredly and sat up. "what time is it?" he asked with a raspy voice which jaelin found attractive.

"it's almost 1" she chuckled. he raised his eyebrows suprised that they slept in that long. "my mom just left for work." jaelin said, picking up the chip bags and cups from the previous night.

"where does she work?" guanlin asked. "the hospital, she works long hours so i don't see her often." she said.

guanlin got up from the couch and helped jaelin clean up the mess.

"it was weird though, she's usually anti boy, but when we were cud-" she stopped herself and looked at the boy who's face was pink again.

she laughed at the flustered boy and teased him. "you're beautiful even when you're sleeping." she mocked him. he rolled his eyes at the girl.

"shut up."
