Sidon's P.O.V.
I felt Link go completely limp and I tried not to think about it but my mind immediately went to the worst possible scenario. If Link just died in my arms I wouldn't be able to cope with that. I couldn't help Mipha so I have to help Link here and now.
I held Link tighter and started to jog, I didn't want to alert too much but it was hard to remain calm in this situation. I could lose my friend.

Link's P.O.V.
With a jolt my consciousness was returned to me. I tried to sit up, but I was met with two large hands that pushed my gently back into the soft bed. I frowned and sunk down into the pillow, slowly peeling my eyes open. I feel like I died.
I groaned when I fully woke up. I feel like I'm being stabbed in the stomach and I'm stiff all over. I thought angrily. I could still sense the presence of someone else, I tensed and looked over to my left. I was met by a muscular stomach. My eyes traveled up what seemed like an impossible distance.
I saw red scales, a white face, and his signature toothy grin. Sidon. When I met his yellow eyes with my blue ones he smiled even more, if that's even possible.
"Link! You are awake! How do you feel?" He tilted his head to the side a little and his grin shrunk just a tad.
Like absolute shit, is what I thought, but outwardly I shook my hand in a so- so motion. Sidon nodded and sat down in a chair by my bed.
"So, you managed to dodge that arrow fairly well in the sense that it still went all the way through your abdomen, but it did not puncture any of your internal organs. Quite impressive my friend," he chuckled a little sadly, his eyes distant. He sighed, "you will be hurting for a while, but the good news is that you get to visit for a while?" He said the last bit almost like a question. I smiled and nodded, the sight of my upturned lips made Sidon bare his sharp teeth in a wide grin.
Sidon then sat back with a sigh. The chair he was in almost seemed too short for him. I could see that his leg was bouncing and his tail was twitching slightly, like a cat when it is anxious.
I took a deep breath and opened my mouth, "arckk," how articulate of you Link, I thought sarcastically then tried again, "wha- what's wrong S-Sidon," I managed to rasp out. Thank Hylia Sidon heard me.
Sidon tilted his head again a little, "you talked?" He hummed a little under his breath, "and no there's nothing wrong really just, thinking," he rubbed the back of his neck with his large hand. I raised a skeptical eyebrow and he sighed deeply, "fine. You got it out of me. I'm concerned for you Link. Ruta was the last beast you needed to tame, now you are supposed to go defeat the Great Calamity. I'm scared you won't return to me," he said the last part barely above a whisper.
I could feel a slight blush dust my cheeks, "I w-will," I paused to clear my throat, "I will always come back," I tried to smile reassuringly at the end but it ended up a grimace of pain. Sidon tutted under his breath.
He stood up and grabbed a small bottle off of the side table. "Here, this will speed up your healing process, but -pardon my language- it tastes like shit," he smiled a little sadly and handed the bottle to me. After he helped me to sit up I downed the foul smelling red liquid. I gagged a little at the after taste, but gave Sidon a thumbs up all the same. He smiled a little more genuinely this time and laughed a little.
He yawned wide and loud, and that was when I realized that it was dark, and Sidon had large dark circles under his usually bright eyes. "How long was I out for," I whispered cautiously. Sidon sighed slightly, "a day," I gave an upset huff and groaned. The tall zora chuckled a little and yawned again. "Go to bed," I made a shooing motion with my hands towards him.
Sidon frowned slightly, "I want to make sure that you are safe," he mumbled, his face pointing down, and even though his fin was covering it slightly I could see that he was blushing. I smirked, "then take me with you," I realized what I said after and blushed wildly.
Sidon hummed a little, "And your stomach is feeling better?" He tilted his head, waiting for my answer. I did the internal check of my pain and came up empty. "Yeah, it doesn't hurt at all, that potion you gave me is wonder- FUL," the last little bit was a startled squeak as Sidon picked me up gently and held me bridal style. I felt my face burn with a blush as I felt Sidon's muscles against me.
"Are you Alright," Sidon asked me gently. I covered my face with my hands, nodding and laughing slightly. And with that Sidon strode purposefully out of my hospital room.
