Leila crossed her arms as she waited for his answer.

"Well?"

He shook his head and told her it was nothing.

"How did you end up here?"

Leila looked over his shoulder and pointed towards the watch. Lucas followed her direction and noticed that the hands of the watch had started moving. She went over and saw the feather which made her gasp.

"Where did you get that? Don't tell me you touch the watch with it."

He didn't know how to respond. His expression was blank. He nodded and looked down to avoid eye contact with her.

"I'm sorry. I took it from your office the other day. It was just-"

Leila cut him off and smiled.

"Do you like it?"

That was all she simply asked.

"Of course."

He loved everything and anything if it has to do with her. Her smile was so precious, warm and angelic.

"Then keep it."

His heart fell. Leila was always sweet to him whereas he was always hesitating.

"Will I get to sit?"

He forgot that she had been standing the entire time. He quickly pulled out a chair for her to sit.

He didn't know what to say. He felt bad and sorry about everything.

"You don't have to," she said as if she read his thoughts, "I'm the one who should be sorry. Aaron was too much."

Aaron this. Aaron that. Everything was about Aaron. He couldn't take it anymore. He felt pathetic whenever he heard his name. He wanted to puke.

"Lucas. Are you alright?"

He nodded although he obviously wasn't alright. He glanced at her who looked so perfect just sitting there.

He licked his lips and his throats went dry. He didn't know what was happening to him but his heart ached. So many emotions filled him up and he started to feel nauseous. He got up and swayed.

"Are you alright?" She rushed over to support him. He wanted to tell her he's fine but he didn't have the energy to.

"Lucas? What's wrong? Answer me."

He pulled her by her wrist and pinned her against the wall. His breath was getting heavy but his strength was still strong. Also, Leila did not even flinch.

He scanned her face and let his burning desire took control over him. He landed his lips on hers.

His mind was blank. He couldn't think. All he knew was that he was screwed. He knew she was going to hate him for taking advantage. But she didn't. Instead she let him fill her in completely.

Lucas released her hands and hugged her waist to pull her in closer, deepening the kiss.

He loved how their arms were wrapped around each other. The kiss felt sweet and passionate. He wanted it to last forever.

When he finally parted his lips, Leila looked up at him with her round blue eyes, full of innocence and smiled. She was beautiful, everything about her was.

"I love you."

She chuckled and leaned in, landing a peck on his cheek as a return. She buried her face in his chest to hide her blush while Lucas's cheek flushed and his heart thumped loudly.
