Chapter 56: The shadow dimension

Funtime Freddy's P.O.V

A flash appeared in front of my face as I jumped out of the portal. Ennard and my shadow were waiting for me, as I took a second to observe my surroundings. "Where are we?" I asked. "Wait! It looks...  like the room?" I was confused, why did we end back up at the pizzeria? "Look closer around you." Said Shadow Funtime Freddy. I gave him a look to show I didn't know what he meant, but I still looked around anyways. There was something off, everything looked dark, gloomy. "We're not at 'our' pizzeria." Said my shadow. "Well than where the hell are we at?" I asked. "How about we actually leave the room and find out, instead of standing here!" Said Ennard. "Fine." I replied. I opened the door and walked outside, while Ennard and Shadow followed me. Everything looked just the same as the room; dark and gloomy. "If this isn't our pizzeria, than why does it look like ours?" I asked. "I feel like I know this place, but I can't figure out why." Said my shadow. "We'll check outside." I said. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" Asked Ennard unsure of my answer. "Why isn't it?" I asked. "Us animatronic's aren't allowed outside." He said. "I've done it before, and I'll do it again." I said while waking to the front door. "What! You have?" Asked Ennard. "Why else would you've not been able to find me and Foxy earlier?" I said while opening the door. But as I stepped outside, I realized something was wrong, very wrong. Ennard and Shadow stepped outside to see what I was seeing. "W-Where are we really?" I asked. There was no buildings at all; the spots they should've been at were empty. It was all just an empty dark, and gloomy endless land. "I remember this place." Said my shadow. And about less than a mile away, was a huge castle. "Its the shadow dimension." "The what!" I said at once. "This... is where I was born from." He said. "You mean you, RXQ... and Shadow Freddy?" Asked Ennard. "Correct." Replied Shadow. "But how does it even exist?" Ennard asked. "I'm... not sure for certain." He responded. "We'll figure that out later, I think we should head towards the castle." I said pointing towards the direction of it. "Why? We don't know what's there." Said Ennard. "It could be where Shadow Freddy has Foxy." Suggested my shadow. "More of a good reason to go there." I said while walking. Ennard and Shadow followed behind me. Ennard however had a face that made it seem he didn't want to this. "You're the one that wanted to come along." I said to him. "I know, but I didn't expect this." He responded. "We all didn't expect this." Said Shadow. We walked for about a couple minutes before reaching it. We were at the front of the castle, and at the front of it above had the face of Shadow Freddy; it looked like something out of hell. "Guess we know now that he's here." Said my shadow. We walked inside as we passed by drawings on the wall. I stopped to get a closer look at them, it looked as if kids drew them, but why would he keep them? "Why the hell does he have these?" Asked Ennard looking them. "You recognize them?" I asked. "No, I don't even know why he was has these." Said Ennard. "I recognize them." Said my shadow. Me and Ennard turned to face him, along with confused looks on our faces. "You do?" I asked. "They're from the older pizzeria's." He said. "How do you know this?" Asked Ennard. "I... just know." "I think you've been to them before. Whenever he sees something that he's seen from back then, he remembers it." I explained. "But still, how does he remember this?" Ennard asked. "I don't know, but I have the feeling he'll remember eventually." I said. "Still doesn't explain why Shadow Freddy is keeping these." Said Ennard. "I wish I knew the answer to that." I said. "Alright! Lets get a mo-" Ennard and Shadow noticed I stopped talking. "What is it?" I didn't say anything, I turned around to only see nothing through the dark hallway. "I feel like we're being watched." I said finally saying something. "I don't sense anyone's presence." Said my shadow while looking around. "Could be RXQ or Shadow Freddy." Suggested Ennard. "Yeah..." I said unsure of his answer. "But this doesn't feel like RXQ or Shadow Freddy, its something else. Lets keep moving, and keep check of your surroundings, we don't if someone is watching our every move or not." I said. We continued walking as I noticed a room to the left. I walked in to what felt like death all around me; there were animtronics everywhere. "What the fuck is this?" I said as calmly as I could. This was something I couldn't handle right now. More questions were arising by each minute, and I knew they were connected somehow. "Its the old animatronics from the older locations! The originals, the toys, even Golden Freddy!" Said my shadow surprised by this. "You seem surprised." I said. "They were supposed to be burned down in 'Fazbear's Fright'." He said. "Wait, Baby mentioned that place!" I said remembering. She did tell us about that place and other locations, before mentioning that place. "I think you've been to them." I said. "So then why are they here?" Asked Ennard. "Another question, more answers we need to find." Said my shadow. Out of no where, I saw something pass by is in a second. I turned around quickly, only to find nothing. "We should get out of here." I suggested. I didn't want to be in this room any longer. "You sure? We haven't checked to see if these animatronic's are still active." Said my shadow. "Yes, lets go." I said leaving the room. They followed behind me as we walked back into the hallway. I could see a room at the end of the hallway. "I see something!" I said while running now." "Wait! Slow down!" Said Ennard. "I didn't slow down, I was eager to see if Foxy was nearby. I ran in the room and stopped. Ennard and my shadow ran in a couple seconds later. "What the hell! Can you at least wa-" Ennard stopped noticing why I stopped. We were at possibly the throne room. There was lava below that bordered an area that was in the middle, and across from us hanging by chains was Foxy. "We need to get over there... NOW!" I said. "How? We can't jump across, it's too far. Not to mention were weren't built to sustain this type of environment." Said Ennard. "If we can't cross it, then we'll fly over it." Said my shadow. "So you can now suddenly fly!?" Said Ennard sarcastically. "Actually yes." "What?" Said me and Ennard at the same time. "I'll get in your body and show you." He said while getting in my body. "So what do I do?" I asked him. "Lift your feet off the ground." He said. "Like th-SHIT!" I said as I started to actually fly up. "Grab on Ennard." Said my shadow. "Just don't drop me." He said while grabbing on. "I'm having trouble!" I said. "Concentrate, have control over it." Said my shadow. I was starting to have control over now. I floated over to the edge and went down and ran to Foxy. Unfortunately, he was already here. RXQ came out of nowhere blocking me and Ennard's path, as Shadow Freddy came from behind us. "So, you think it would be that easy?" He asked. "I had the feeling you were somewhere." I said. "Give Foxy back, OR I'LL BE THE REASON WHY YOU WON'T EXIST EVER AGAIN!"
