Part 24

A few hours later...

I was still trying to process all the information I found out today. My scar...it's a piece of him...one that I always had.

Snape and Dumbledore are out of the balcony talking about something, I tried to listen but it seems I have only heard the end of the conversation.

Just then I heard footsteps walking across the floor. Snape climbs down the stairs past me, seeming very upset.

I quietly walked up to him as he was staring out his balcony.

"Harry....you know I forget how much you have grown and at times i still see you as a little boy living in a cupboard under the stairs....forgive me Harry, I'm an old man" He says laughing a bit a the end

"You look the same to me" I tell him hoping to humor him

"Much like your mother your heart is full of kindness" He says to me, i have been told I'm much like her

"Now....Where we journey tonight, i said you can go with me but only if.....you obey every command I tell you. I mean every command i give you"

"Of course sir" I instantly agree, but i feel there was more to this

"Should I tell you to run and hide....you do so. Should I tell you to abandon me and save yourself....you do so" He explains, how could he just expect me leave him? I would never.

"I need your word Harry" He asks again

"My word" I agree, i hope it never had to come to that

"Take my arm Harry" He holds his arms out to me

"Sir i thought no one could apparate within Hogwarts?" I asked him, he just looks at me and laughs

"Well being me does has its privileges" He says quietly

No ones pov

Harry grabbed Dumbledore's arm and suddenly felt himself flying. They landed on a large rock in the middle of the ocean. Wind blowing and waves crashing, the pair looked at a near by cave on the side of the mountain. Dumbledore apparated with Harry on his arm to the cave.

"This is the place Harry....no magic" Dumbledore says as he pulls out a peice of glass and begins cutting his hand

"Sir....please let me" Harry tried to convince him not to, but he didn't listen

"Harry your blood is more precious than mine" Dumbledore says placing the glass down and places his hand on the wall

Harry didn't understand how he would be so much more valuable, Dumbledore is one of the greatest wizards in the world...and what was Harry?

Suddenly the wall began crashing down and rocks begin to fall, creating a door. As the lumos spell was cast, both Harry and Dumbledore walked through. Dumbldore shined a light across the pond trying to find a path, then a bright light began to shine.

Harry still is shock as he wonders how they were going get across the water.

"Now how do we get there sir?" Harry asks him

Dumbledore stepped down to the rocks closer to the water and places hand out above the water. Instantly a chain flew into his hands.

"Take this Harry" Harry grabs the chain and began pulling

Suddenly this boat comes out of the water. Both Harry and Dumbledore rode to the crystal podium that the horecrux was in.

"Do you think it's in there sir?" Harry asked him

"Indeed"

Harry looked on the podium to see some sort of liquid and a small bowl. He instantly knew it had to be drunk.

"Harry remember what you promised. This potion could paralyze me, I may forget why i'm here and i may be in so much pain it will kill me. Make sure i keep drinking this potion, even if you have to force it down my throat" Dumbledore says

"Why can't I drink it?" Harry asks shaking nervously

"Because i am older Harry, you are much more valuable. I'm not the chosen one" He says to Harry

Dumbldore slowly brought the bowl to his lips and began drinking it. After one drink the professor was already weakened, falling to his knees. He reaches out for Harry.

"Professor can you hear me?" Harry asks nervously

When Harry doesn't get a respond he grabs the bowl and tries to force the potion down his throat. Over and over again Harry makes the professor drink the potion. Both in pain, he still remembered what the professor asked of him.

"Stop!" The professor begs, but Harry knew he would have to continue

"Kill me!" The professor yells out in agony

"Sir one more drink....then I'll do what you say....please I promise" Harry begs as the tears begun to swell in his eyes, he hesitates but makes him drink it one last time.

Once finished Dumbledore just begins staring at him, no pain, no agony, no yelling.

"Water" He says

Harry doesn't listen and proceeds to grab the horecrux out of the podium.

"We did it sir" Harry says finally holding the locket in his hand

Suddenly as Harry goes down to the pond to grab the water, the light that led their way burned.

Looking around in the darkness he casts lumos to help him see. He dipped the bowl in the water but suddely something grabs his hand. He stands and points his wand at the water being prepared for what might come out.

"Lumos maxima!" Harry says casting light around the cave

Suddenly many skeletons began coming out of the water.

"Sectumsepra!"

"Stupefy!"

Hundreds begins climbing towards the podium, but he couldn't fight them all. Suddenly something grabs him a pulls him into the water, he tried to breath as the bodies were pulling him deeper under the water. All of a sudden Harry sees this bright yellow light above the water. As the light began shooting around him, the bodies let go and he swam to the top finally catching his breathe.

He sees the vortex moving around the cave, killing the skeletons. Dumbldore continued moving his wand around whilst on the podium, still creating the fire vortex. Harry began climbing back up grabbing Dumbledore by the waist. Dumbldore then casts a spell creating a path through the fire and water, allowing them a way out.

Meanwhile at Hogwarts....

The thunder began to roar and the sky became much darker as professor Mogonagal sent the students to their houses. She along with every other professor knew something was about to happen.

Out of the hospital, Draco goes to the room of requirement and takes the sheet off the vanishing cabinet. He backed up slowly and the black smoke began to pour out. Suddenly Bellatrix and the death eaters walked out.
