A Kai Hiwatari Fanfic

Love at first kiss???

(The two teams have reached the hotel and go to the front desk. There is a note from Mr. D which on reading, everyone screams.)

"This is so not happening." Kai snarled. "No way am I gonna share a room with Lily, or any GIRL." 

"But we are all okay. Come on, It's not like she is gonna kill you." Tala said. However, after a big quarrel, Kai eventually gave in. 

"So it is decided. The pairings are to be Kai and Lily, Tyson and Jasmine, Kenny and Ruby, Ray and Rose and Daisy and me. Just like Mr. D has said. So let's go to our rooms, freshen up and meet in the common room in 15 minutes. So bye guys." Max said.

My P.O.V

I look at him and think "gonna be a long month" and giggle. 

"Something wrong?" He looks at me. I gaze at his crimson eyes and almost loose myself into them. Kai also does like that (I guess since he is staring at my eyes) and we stare at each other in silence. Finally I come out of my trance and mumble 

"Nothing." I enter the room and freeze. I see a double bed meant for two people. I sigh and throw my bag on the right side of the bed. 'I am taking the right side of the bed.' I exclaim. 

'No way are we gonna share a bed.' He says, raising an eyebrow. 

'Listen, do you sleepwalk or like...mumble in your sleep' I asked. 

'No...of course not!' 'So it is ok. I am not much of a sleeper so I will sleep only for like 2 or 4 hours. Rest of the time I will be awake. So no tensions' I said. '

hn.' He grunted. 

'Um..... I am taking that as a yes than.' I mumble. He says nothing and goes out of the room. I sigh and go after him.

Normal P.O.V

'So is everyone here? Since we are new to everyone and there is one week to the tournament, let's start our day with a small game of truth and dare' Max said. 

'No way!'Lily and Kai said at the same time. 

'Oooh. Are the two captains scared?' Tyson taunted 

'Bring it on!' Both the captains smirked and sat down.

Tyson spins the bottle and it lands on Kai. 'Choose Kai, Truth or Dare?' 'I take Dare!' He says. Just then Lily excuses herself and leaves the game to drink water.

Kai's P.O.V.

As I watch Lily leave, I sense something wrong. I face Tyson and he grins evilly. 'Dear Kai, I dare you to French Lily' He says .

'WHAT!!' I say. 'No way.' 

'Do you wannna roll in feathers and quack around like a chicken?' He taunts.

 No way, I think. 'Fine!' I say. Just then Lily comes and sits beside me. '

Kai now!!' Tyson shouts. '

What the...' She says when I stop her by capturing her lips.Mmmm. I think to myself. She tastes like strawberry dipped in cream and tipped with sugar. . She is so sweet. Wait... What? I feel her kissing back in the last second and drawing back. I feel sad and wish it could have lasted forever. Wait....What? What the hell is happening to me? I draw back and turn, blood rushing into my face.

My P.O.V

As I was about to ask what happened I felt a pair of lips crashing into mine. I widened my eyes but did not kiss back. Mmmm. I think to myself. He tastes like mint. He is so sweet. Wait... What? I am supposed to hate this guy. What the hell is happening? I feel everybody's eyes on us. I slowly kiss back for a microsecond and draw back. I draw back and turn, blood rushing into my face.

Normal P.O.V

'Are the two captains blushing?' Tyson and Jasmine cooed together and then looked at each other in surprise. '

My turn.' Kai said and spinned the bottle. And it landed on Lily. 

I take dare.' Lily said. 'I dare you to battle all of the blade breakers and Tala together. If you lose, you will do what we will say. If you win, which is impossible, we will do what you say.' Kai smirked. 

Ray and Max gasped. 'Kai do not be so cold hearted.' 

'Bring it on' Lily said

'The match is between Lily and the blade breakers. Let it begin!!' Rose yelled. 'Nike double deam!'Lily yelled. '

The world champion scares us with a game of shadows? Not expected. And you were supposed to be the best of the lot.' Tyson smirked. 

'Go Dragoon. Hit the one in the middle.' He hits the one in the middle and it flies of the stadium while the others vanish. The others think that the match is over and let down their guard. Right then Kai notices a flash of purple and is about to warn the others but it is too late. The others watch in despair as the one which flew out vanishes and Lily yells 'Nike, Victory tornado attacks' and sweeps away everybody's beyblade. But unfortunately, Kai manages to stay on. '

You need to win this Kai. Or else we will kill you. You only gave this stupid dare.' Max yells. '

And YOU were supposed to be the champion blader.' Lily scoffed. 'Ray, seriously, I thought you learnt something from that match in the American tournament when the kid with the iguana blade startled you.' Ray turned red while Rose bumped him like an over-friendly cat. 

'It's ok. Happens' She encouraged him. 

'Dranzer, Fire Saber!' Kai orders. 'Nike, Water pulse!' Lily yells. Both the blades clash on and smoke engulfs the stadium. A blade comes out towards Lily right on her face but she catches it. Daisy scoots over to the dish and declares happily, 'The winner is LILY!!'

'So Kai, I dare your team to dress up in kimonos. Then I will take a nice little photo and post it online' Lily laughed evilly. '

WHAT??' Four voices speak up. 

'Quick! I have already chosen your colours. You will go on with your partners from my team. Meet in the living room in 5 minutes' Lily said .

'Yay! This is gonna be fun!' Daisy said, while all the boys glared daggers at the two captains. Kai himself shot a death glare at Lily but she did not even flinch, making him growl. He found himself standing angrily in front of the mirror while Lily silently put on the purple kimono for him. I look ridiculous. I still don't understand how a blader can defeat all the world champions at once, leave alone a GIRL, He thought. 

As if on she had read his mind, Lily smirked and said 'There! You look even better than me in that. And it would have been kind enough of you not to get me weak only because I am a girl. You are quite lucky we did not participate in the last tournament. Or else you would have been cursing and sitting in you so called "mansion" now, looking at your Dranzer and rotting with Voltaire.' Kai looked stunned. How did she come to know that? I am pretty sure it was not told on television. Since she is a businesswoman, I guess she looked up on the information about Hiwatari Enterprises. I never knew Voltaire would flash me in public like that.

'Oh, don't be so lost. I have my ways. And remember? You DO NOT own the world.' Lily said and dragged the female Kai out of the room and into the living room where the other girls were waiting with the camera and the boys were trying to blend in with the surroundings, red with embarrassment. Tyson wore red, Ray wore white, and Max wore green. 

'Everyone, take your positions and smile!' Daisy shouted and set the camera in timer. Then she and the other girls ran up to the boys, held their hands and forced them to look in the camera. After the photograph, all the boys changed and came back. Tala looked on, confused, that the girls printed the photo and stuck it in an album, where they were supposedly gonna treasure the moments spent together. 'Aren't you girls gonna post that online?' He asked.

 'Of course not! I was just joking! You are part of the team, and I don't like people making fun of my team' Lily said. 'Thank you so much!!' Everyone in the boys except Kai yelled and ran forward to hug Lily. Kai saw them and felt a pang of jealousy, and was so surprised, he said nothing.
