Jealousy

My P.O.V

'You really thought you could beat me with your stupid moves?' I smirk. 

'Don't start celebrating. I was just going easy on you.' Apollo replies. 

'Tch...Try harder next time bro.' I laugh. 

'Hi guys. Lily, were you expecting someone?' Artemis asks, walking towards me.

 'No, why do you ask?' I ask, clearly puzzled. 

'I just found an intruder spying on both of you, which reminds me, Brother dear, you really disgust me.' Artemis said causing Apollo to shoot her a death glare. 

'Where is this "intruder"?' I ask. 

'Intruder incoming!' Artemis shouts. 

I look ahead, expecting somebody from Gaia, and to my enormous surprise, it turns out to be...KAI!!! 

'He... Umm, He just came out of curiosity! He is no intruder, he is just my Bey partner! I will take him just now. Sorry Artemis!' I hastily apologize, untie Kai and pull him with me.

Kai P.O.V

As we walk through the wall, I notice her clothes changing. Now she wears a red short frock with a black shrug and brown boots. We keep on walking through the bustling streets of New York, dodging people here and there. I look at her; about to ask her where on earth we were headed but one glance at her furious expression manages to keep my mouth shut. We kept on walking and reached a similar wall. We walk through it and reach a garden similar to the first one. She suddenly turned towards me and brought her face closer to me. I want to turn away but I just don't know why, I stand there. She makes our foreheads touch and closes her eyes. After a few seconds, she opens them and touches the ground with her hand. A purple light comes out of her hand and the ground absorbs it. 

'There! Now you can come here whenever you want. I know you will keep coming here, so I just made sure the spirit in this place recognizes you.' She says. 

'So, you are not cross with me?' I ask her. 

'Of course not! I know you just came there out of curiosity!' She smiled. 

'Can I ask you something?' I say. 'Sure!' She replies. 

'I think... I have started to like someone. And since you have some "Aphrodite" qualities in you, I just wanted to ask you that what should I do?' I ask, blood rushing into my cheeks. 

Her smile falters a bit, but she quickly shakes it off and replies. 'Nothing at all! Just be yourself. She should love you for who you are from inside. You should do nothing else to impress her. Only then will you really enjoy each others' company, that is, if she loves or rather likes you back.' 

'Thanks.' I say. 

'Would you mind if I ask you how does she look like, because I know you will not reveal her name to me.' She asked again. 

'She has violet hair which cascades till her waist. She has blue eyes which are so pure you lose yourself everyone time you look into them you lose yourself. Her laugh sounds like bells chiming, and it is so nice to hear it.' I replied. 

'Oh...' She faltered. 'I think it is getting late. We should be on our way back.' 

'hm.' I said and followed her back to the hotel. For the rest of the way she was rather subdued, and for once I felt in peace since our teams had been together.

My P.O.V

'Lily, here are your papers. The dress code is as we had decided.' Rose said, handing the papers to me, as we all took our seats in the restaurant in the hotel itself. 

'Thanks.' I replied. 'Are you doing some show?' Max asked. 

'Concert.' Daisy shrugged. 

'We are a band. Must have heard of the "Fire&Ice" band? We are that band.' Jasmine said. 

The boys changed looks; that was the top leading band, and they all looked surprised.

 'Can we get a ticket?' Tyson asked. 

'How about, I get all of you VIP passes?' Rose asked. 

'YAY!' Max pumped his hand in the air. 

'Can we order something? I am literally starving after all that running I did at the sports centre!' Tyson whined. 

'Pig.' Kai mumbled under his breath. 

'You know, I am very excited today! We finally will get to see all the other teams participating in the tournament!' Ruby said.

 'That reminds me, how did your research go?' Max asked.

 'It was awesome. I learnt so many things from Izzy and Ruby!' Kenny said, causing Ruby to get slightly embarrassed. 

'Look, the teams have started coming in.......It is the All Stars and the White Tigers!' Rose pointed out.

 'Our teams!' Ray and Max yelled and raced to their respective teams. I watched on as Ray was greeted by his team. A pink haired girl from the white tigers came up and hugged him, causing him to blush. I stole a glance at Rose and saw that she was clenching her fist. I smiled, remembering the earlier photo I had clicked of them in their room. Soon Ray came with his team and introduced them. Mariah, the pink haired girl looked at Rose when Ray mentioned her as his Bey partner and kissed Ray on his cheek and said, 'They are wonderful. But I would you mind if I took you for this night. We have a lot to catch on.' 

Even though she asked the question to him, I understood that the question was actually directed to Rose, who excused herself with a dumb excuse and went outside. Taking this as a yes, Mariah gave Ray another kiss on his cheek and went off to her table. Ray, still dazed with the turn of events, sat down and kept looking at the Black haired beauty that had just walked away. I looked at Kai, who had his eyes closed, but had a hint of a smile, which implied that he too, had been listening.

The food arrived shortly. While everyone ate their food and chatted, except Rose, who refused to look at Ray, I stared at the door, still expecting someone. Ruby noticed this and asked whether I was feeling all right or not, I just shook my head and stared at the food in front of me.

Kai P.O.V 

I looked at Lily as she sighed and absent-mindedly stared at the food in front of her. I went through today's events, but nothing came to be the reason of her rather odd behaviour. Suddenly, another team walked down the aisle, and to my disgust, Tala, of all people came to our table. He quietly crept up with a finger on his lips, gesturing us to keep our mouth shut, and shut Lily's eyes with his hands. I watched on with a rage as Lily face brightened up and she replied, 'I will recognize you anywhere Ivanov.' 

'It would be a shame if you wouldn't after the......... umm, relation we share, Williams.' He smirked, removing his hands from her eyes. I watched on as she stood up and looked happily at him with that lovely smile. She raised her hands but withdrew them again. He smiled and nodded and she actually threw herself on her and hugged him! To make it worse, everyone went Awww! 

I fumed inside and silently went outside and punched the wall in the deserted corridor. Then I went back and took my seat, opposite to Lily, and she actually looked at him once at a while, as if waiting for him to say something. Finally, that idiot came back and whispered something to her, and she said yes. She came next to me and whispered, 'I am spending the night with Tala, so if I do not come back by late night, don't worry. I will be back by the next morning for practice.' 

I literally wanted to go and slap that idiot on his face, while he took Lily's hand in his and walked out.
