I landed perfectly on a whale passing by and my body bounced on its back. Alarming me that I need to be there with the two others. I stood up to call Decorus and Hyena to jump in. The whale kept moving. Distancing us from Hyena and Decorus. I straightened my back to have a clearer view and see what delay them from hopping.

Decorus just finished the Baboon. He stood on the chest, and I listened to his beautiful howl... which turned out to be the second most beautiful sound after Sophie's. But then he collapsed.

And never wake up.

Hyena shook his body. Then she roared. She roared louder than a lion. One... three... five times. Yet he enjoyed his sleep more than the plan of running away that we had made.

Hyena ran to the edge of the land and roared at me.

'Hyena, jump!'

She didn't answer.

The more she ignored me the weaker my voice box became.

The farther I sailed the shakier my lips moved.

The smaller their figures the more blind my visions got.

'Hyena! Jump! For human sake, jump!' I shouted louder just in case she couldn't hear me.

'Hyena! Hyena! Hyena please!'

She roared a few more times. Then she turned her back and left.

There I was. Being I whom everyone barely listened to.

And just like that, I was left alone.

Left alone or thought I was.

Until a four-legged creature with a huge triangle ears jumped to my direction.

With my body cold, my mind a mess, and my eyes boiling, I stared at the animal who touched down with his neck bent down.

When he raised his chin, I could see my reflection in his clear emerald eyes.

He was the fox humiliated on our first day.

And so, two cowards who did nothing yet showered with luck and helps were sent to the gate of Myth Land.

To be humans.
