"Em Winston," someone called from behind me. I slowly turned,"Who are you?" "I'm Sodapop Curtis,"he said. "So,"I asked confused. "I know you're brother Dallas,"he said. I nodded. "Come meet the gang," he pulled me to a house. "This is my house,"he said proudly. Slowly we walked in and I saw 6 other people. "This is Keith, my brothers Ponyboy and Darry, Steve, you know Dally, and Johnny,"he said. Johnny looked scared, nervous. "Stand up strait Dallas," I scolded. "Damn, she is always getting onto me about it," Dally scowled. "Maybe she's right Dal," Johnny whispered. "Shut your trap Johnny," he said playfully. I started laughing. "Johnny, what's wrong,"I asked. "He was jumped by Socs a while back, been nervous ever since," Steve said slowly. I nodded. Steve whispered something in my ear. Dally punched him. "Okay stop," I smiled. "Johnny, do you wanna go see a movie," I asked. "Uhhh, yeah,"he said shaking. We walked down to the movie house. "Looks like we're seeing Bonnie and Clyde," I smiled. "Yep," he said stuffing his fists into his coat. "Hey, do you have a girlfriend," I said nonchalantly while watching the movie. "No, why?" "Cause you're cute and I like you,"I smiled. "Really," he half yelled. I nodded. "Will you be my girl,"he asked. "Sure." Then he slowly pulled me over and kissed me. "Thank you," he smiled once the kiss was over.
