The four friends were really excited about the upcoming custom party.  They took out there best clown custom and send them to the cleaners.  They wanted to look their best.  They also practiced their tricks and skills hoping to put a clown show at the party.   The four men were now ready, to meet new people at a party that they didn't expect to be invited to.

Weeks went by and the day of the party finally arrived.  "So, everyone ready to put on a good show?" asked Tom who was the animal balloon specialist.  "I really don't know about this," replied Richard the clown that knew every trick in the clowns manual.    "Dude, we need to attend this party.  First of all most of these students have siblings that are much younger, and might need a clown for there birthday parties.  We need to be known." said Eric who was the juggler specialist.  "He does have a point," replied Nathing who just couldn't wait to show his card tricks along with his magic tricks.

"I still think this is a bad idea.  But I'll go along with you anyway.  Are we already now or what?  Let's get out of here before I change my mind." said Richard  "Say the word and we're gone." said Tom  "Well, let's go then." said Richard   The four teenage men headed to the car, then to the party.

The moment they arrived all eyes were on them the as they stepped out of the car.  Others were dressed in Viking and gladiator customs.  It was the theme of the party, something that wasn't mentioned in their invitation.  "Dude, everyone is looking at us." said Eric  "Of course they are, we are the only one dress like stupid clowns.  I told you this wasn't a good idea." said Richard  "You don't know that we might have fun after all." said Tom   "You keep believing that." said Richard as he went back and sat on top of his car.

"Hey, what are you doing?  The party is waiting." said Nathing  "Look, listen, guys, you three go have fun.  I'll chill out here." said Richard  "Really dude, that's why you never meet anyone new, man, you don't even try." said Tom  "Go enjoy yourselves, I'll be fine right where I'm sitting." he replied as he took out a joint and began to smoke his weed.

"Suit you, I'm going to the party," said Tom as he headed towards the house.  Eric and Nathing were right behind him.  Richard noticed the reaction of the crowd.  They were whispering and laughing as his friend walked by them towards the front door.

Frank, the one who send them the invite, opened the door.  "Hey, you came.  Look I'm Frank.  I was hoping you and your friends will put on a show for us." he said  "Well, I'm Tom, this is Eric and this is Nathing.   We won't mind putting a clown show for you and your friends." replied Tom with a happy smile.

"Good, I'm glad to know.  But I thought there was four of you?" he said as he looked around for Richard   "Yes we are four, but my buddy Richard, really doesn't like parties." explained Eric  "Well, I do believe his in the wrong business.  Parties are the only place clowns are welcome.  Well go help yourself with some food and drinks and maybe at ten you can put on a show for us." said Frank  "Thanks, that'll be fine." said Tom as the three walked towards the bar.   Frank glanced at the bartender and gave him a wink and then he responded with a thumbs up.  Tom and his friends didn't notice a thing.

Richard remained outside and after a while stepped into the car and fell asleep.
