Aracel's pov

"You're kidding right?! Don't be foolish Aracel!"
"I don't need your support to do what I want!"
"As your father-"
"BUT YOU'RE NOT MY FATHER!"
"Listen here girl! You're crazy if you think a woman is going to change the world for the better! This is a man's world! And you will learn that one day!"
He grabs my face with his hand in a very rough way and squeezes it.
"Pfft... woman! What a joke!"
Pushing me away, he walks away soon after.
"Don't be that naive Aracel, with that poor mindset of yours, you won't make it in this world." Eugene chuckles

A knock interrupts me from my thoughts. Probably just Hazel again.
"Come in." I mumble
I stare at my reflection on the mirror, all my life I was doubted. Where I am today, I got there on my own. No help from anyone, now I run S.H.I.E.L.D proving everyone wrong.
"Darling, you shouldn't frown it causes wrinkles." Qrow smirks, as he comes into the room
"Eww... I thought you were Hazel." I scowl
"I'm much better than Hazel."
"Ha. Ha. Don't make me laugh." I reply in sarcastic tone
"You're cute."
"And you're-"
"Irresistible. Good looking. Smart. The man of your dr-"
"I don't know what makes you so stupid, but whatever you do, it works." I say
"That hurt, so I'm going to pretend you didn't just say that. But we need to talk-"
"Unfortunately, that's what were doing right now."
"About that newbie!"
"What about her? Are you mad she passed your score?" I ask, aldeady knowing the answer.
"Yes!"
"Oh! I'm sorry, but did you really think you were unbeatable?!"
"I can handle Raven passing me and maybe Cinder, but a newbie?! That's were the line has been crossed!"
"It's not a man's world anymore, sorry to break it to you, but anything a man can do a woman can as well." I smirk
"You are making it really difficult for me to not want to kiss you right now." Qrow mutters
"What?"
"The newbie being a woman isn't what bothers me-"
"Then I believe we're done here."
"No we're not. Please let me retake it-"
"Are you kidding me?! You are unfortunately a S.H.I.E.L.D agent, you will suck it up and not complain to me about it." I say
"Aracel-"
"It's Director Mikaelson to you!" I exclaim
"Director Mikaelson-"
"Suck it up Agent Branwen!"
"But-"
"No! Stop talking and get out of my face! Now!" I yell
"I'll be back later, don't miss me too much doll." He smirks
"Gosh... sometimes I wonder how many times you dropped on your head as a baby. Guess I'll have to ask Raven later." I mumble
"Rude."
Qrow leaves and Hazel comes in my room. He gives me a strange look, but then shakes it off.
"What?" I ask
"The new agent is here, it's time for you to meet her." Hazel explains
"Of course, I just had a distraction to take care of."
"You built this organization on your own, it's something to be very proud of Mikaelson."
"Yeah and they said a woman could never." I chuckle
"Keep proving them wrong, now let's go meet Ms. Emerald." He says
Hazel walks out the room and I look at myself in the mirror yet again. Pink hair, purple eyes, and a black suit.
"Everything I need is standing right in front of me. I will continue to prove the world wrong." I mumble, before heading out of my room.
