Tree Bros~Fairytale AU part 2

"Evan?! Evan?!" Th voice of Jared shouted

Evan groaned and held his head, being greeted by a splitting headache. Jared was kneeling next to him, his face red from crying, broke into a smile. He embraced Evan in a tight hug

"Oh my God Evan! Thank God you're awake! Literally never scare me like that again!" Jared shouted

Evan gave a small chuckle and hugged Jared back. Suddenly the events of before sunk in, he pulled away from the embrace

"Jared" he said in all seriousness "Where is Prince Connor!?"

Jared's face fell, he sighed and helped Evan get up from the rubble. Thousands of people had now gathered at the balcony, the moon still above them.

"No one knows Evan. He's just...gone"

Evan froze, closed his eyes and held out his arms.

"Evan?" Jared asked

Suddenly vines of all kinds flew up from the ground wrapping around Evan's arms and launcing him to the sky and out of sight.

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" Jared shouted to the sky

"Sorry!" Evan squeaked but too high for anyone to hear. 

He began to move around trying to explore the grounds and finding Connor. The moonlight didn't help, making everything harder to see. Unfortunately vines were not the best method of transportation and soon Evan's concentration began to give out. Suddenly his eye caught the sight of a pair of demon wings 

"Connor!" Evan shouted waving his arms 

"Connor! Connor! Conn-!!" 

Suddenly he felt something crack. He looked down in horror as the vines sunk down and he fell to his impending doom. He screamed when suddenly he was swooped up by a huge pair of wings. Evan slowly opened his eyes, immediately regretting it, as he was flying thousands of feet above everything before slowly landing on the castle roof. 

"Co-Connor?" He asked 

"Yeah fucking Connor! What were you thinking Evan?! You could've died!" the familiar voice of Connor snapped 

"I was-I was-looking for you" Evan offered

Connor huffed and sat down, hugging his talon legs to his chest, using his wings to cover up his face. Evan sat next to him, placing a hand on the leathery surface. 

"You should've have done that. I'm not worth your life" he whispered 

"I wanted to see you. I needed to make sure you were alright" Evan answered softly 

Connor sighed and shuffled his wings around "I'm a monster Evan" he murmured 

"No you're not."

Connor whirled around, and Evan was finally able to get a look at his face. His pale skin was burnt and covered in scars, out of his mouth stuck out with twisted fangs, his eyes were a bright red and his face in a scowl. 

"Take a good fucking look at me Evan."

He gave a sour laugh "My sister gets cursed with getting whatever she wants, and I get turned into...this...every night" 

"So?" 

Evan took Connor's hands (claws) into his own gloved hands. He wanted to pull away but Evan held them. They stood up together, Connor's wings enclosing them in a circle. 

"Connor you are a beautiful monster. An amazing person, I know you don't believe it but it's true." 

"You think?" 

Evan looked up into his eyes, his red, crazed, bloodshot eyes and smiled. 

"I know" 

Jared was still in the same spot as before when Evan came down with Connor, the moon still shining high. People gasped and screamed as the prince flew down with Evan on his back. 

"Hi Jared!" Evan shouted waving

"Um...Hi! Evan! Prince-Prince-ConNOR!!" Jared squeaked 

Connor frowned and gave a wave. 

"We're gonna go dance!" Evan exclaimed 

"We are!?" Connor shrieked 

"You are!?" 

Evan nodded. "Yup"

He grabbed Connor's arm and dragged him back into the ball room. Everyone stared at them, whispers spread like wildfire, people gasped and left the room while others just stared. Evan nodded to the band as they began to play. 

"Ignore them" Evan whispered as they began to dance "They're staring cause they're jealous." 

Their dance was slow, Evan kept stepping on Connor's talons and Connor kept making remarks on how ridiculous they must look. Soon the symphony came to an end, they stared into each other's eyes. 

"I love you" Connor whispered 

"I love you too" Evan answered laying his lips on Connor's

And they lived Happily Ever After. The End.
