Twelve

You slept for almost a month inside Demetri's home with all her herbs and spices laying around she believed would help you get better. In those few weeks, Rin had started to drift away from you. 

His visits went from four hour visits a day to none at all by week three. When you woke up, you were expecting to see him. Not Demeter.... or your mother.

"[Y/N], what were you thinking?" Your mother exclaimed.

"Mom. Please, don't shout." You held your head.

It was then you noticed the bandages on your hands that extended to your elbows. Your legs were lined with bandages to and your left ankle was encased in a cast. Your head was bandaged on one side as was your stomach. 

Right before Claudia fell, she was able to get one strike at you in the stomach.

"What happened to me?" You ribbed your head.

"That's what I was wondering, young lady." Hecate crossed her arms.

You looked like an almost exact replica of your mother with her [h/c] hair that extended to her low back, [e/c] eyes that seemed to sparkle, [s/c] skin, [h/s] head and your small noise. The only thing you got from your father was his fire, his temper, and stubbornness.

"All I remember is a cage, a godly demon cause, Akemi, Claudia, a spell, and... Rin! Mom, can I go?" You asked her jumping put of bed.

You would have fallen down if it wasn't for Demeter. "Where do you think you're going?"

"I'm going to visit my friend. Hopefully, he doesn't mind cooking me dinner." You said as Demeter set you back on your bed.

"Him? That's worse than going off to see your female friend, Shiemi! Don't start it with me. My daughter isn't going anywhere with her injuries. You're to stay put until they're healed. Plus, what have we talked about." Hecate said.

You took a deep breath and sighed. "Don't fraternize with anyone except demigod's, gods, or GDs. But, mom, the boy is probably worried sick about me and so is his brother and everyone else." Demeter handed me the crutches.

"She likes him, Hecate. He's his son too. I didn't like how she hanged out with him when she first told me, but then I got used to it." Demeter told your mother.

"No daughter of mine is going to fraternize with that!" Hecate exploded.

You stood up with the aid of your crutches. "Mom! Calm down. I'm not a child anymore. I can take care of myself. Rin is different and so is his brother and my friend Shiemi. Stop treating me like I'm still the three year old girl you gave up!" You shouted at her.

"Now, if you excuse me. I have a few friends I need to see." Your voice was calmer this time as you walked out of the room.

"She likes him?" Hecate asked Demeter.

"It's too obvious. She and him are the only ones who are oblivious." Demeter smirked.

You hobbled your way towards the his stop before getting off near True Cross. By your calculations, school was over and they would be in their dorms. You used your crutches to walk over there and you opened the door.

"[Y/N]! You woke up!" The voice of the innocent Shiemi shouted for your attention.

You turned around to see her happy self running towards you to give you a big hug. You sucked in a breath. She let go of the hug.

"I'm glad you're feeling better." Shiemi said.

"Yeah. I'll talk to you later. I'm just going to go and see Rin to see about him making me some food. I'm starving." You tell her turning around.

"Don't go up there!" She warned you as you turned the door knob.

You turned towards her. "Why not?"

She bit her lip before saying, "He has a girl with him up there."

You felt the tiniest crack in your heart. Your face became soft, and you took your hand off the door knob. You were only asleep for a month, and he goes off with another girl. Just great 😒 (supposed to be a sarcastic smile).

"Oh, [Y/N]. It's good to see you're finally awake." The voice of Yukio Okumura came into your ears.

You turned towards him. "Your brother's a dickhead, four eyes."

"What happened? Did Shiemi tell you about Bella already? She's a new student and I think that she and Rin are closer than you two were." Yukio asked you.

"He's an asshole. One. He kissed me on the bus. Two. I saved his stupid fucking ass. Three. I'm going to call in a favor." You say.

"Wait. He kissed you!" Shiemi squealed.

"Keep your voice down, Shiemi. By the way, Yukio, I've heard of the name Bella. Her last name wouldn't be Sauve would it?" You asked him.

"Yes, how did you?"

"Damnit, Akemi! You and your big ideals and me being a traitor to every godly demon that ever existed." You mumbled.

"Where are you going with this?" Shiemi asked me.

"Can you give me anything and everything you know about her? Thanks." I said to the youngest Okumura brother.

"Is there something I should be worried about or are you just jealous?" Yukio asked you as you started to walk away.

"Both. Don't worry about it. I'll handle everything." You called over your shoulder.

You had kept your cool. Now, it's time to go rant to your mother about how jealous and heartbroken you are.
