You walked down the hall towards Yukio's classroom. What aas it called again? Herbal studies? That sounds about right. You walked into the classroom to see Yukio talking with Shura.

"Hi." You waved at them.

"Hi, [Y/N]." Shura greeted you. "I don't see Rin with you. Did you scare him off?"

You're nothing more than the girl with an odd obsession to Rin.

"No. No I didn't. Please, continue." You replied not noticing the joke in Shura's voice before sitting down at a desk. You pulled out a book from her bag. "Please, pretend I'm not even here."

Yukio and Shura shared a look that was about the demon girl. Your demeanor had changed seemingly overnight. And it was now where they were going to get to the bottom of things.

"You're here early." Yukio commented.

"Yes, I am. I can't stand my mornings with Hera. Especially after the whole ordeal with Claudia." You said still staring at the page of the book.

"I thought Rin walked you to school. Where is he at?" Shura asked her.

"I don't know. He texted me saying he wouldn't be able to walk with me." You said.

That was a lie. He had not texted you saying all that stuff. You had been ignoring his texts trying to push him away. There was a reason behind this sudden change. And it was one you didn't like, but it was the case. You didn't want to admit it, but Bella Vanderwitts had gotten under your skin, and you had done the one thing you thought you never would: give up on [S/N] (A/N: ship name).

A while past (Shura had left the classroom at some point) before Rin walked through the door. Rin spotted you and smiled not knowing what you had been doing.

"Hi, [Y/N]." He greeted her sitting down beside her.

In truth, what happened next was pure shock and embarrassment (seeing as Yukio, Bon, and Izumo were the only ones there). You got up from your seat and sat at a completely different table turning away from Rin. Rin stood their dumbfounded before shooting a look at his brother who held a similar look. Izumo laughed while Bon had a resting bitch face plastered on.

"Rin." Yukio said gesturing his brother come up to him.

"Oh brother." Rin muttered walking to him. "Yes?"

"What did you do to make her so angry with you?"  Yukio asked him. "Did she ask you out and you rejected her?"

"No! I would never reject her." Rin retorted.

"Then, why-."

"I don't know!" Rin exclaimed cutting his younger twin brother off.

"Well, figure it out. Please. Watching the two of you having this weird thing going on has caused endlessness of uncomfortable." Yukio told him.

Wow, I never knew you felt that way. Rin thought to himself.

**

"[Y/N]!" Rin called out to you at the end of class.

You had bolted out of the classroom, and he was chasing you out of it. He wanted, no needed, to talk to you. About the thing he had been putting off for a while now.

"[Y/N], wait. Hold up." But you didn't stop or slow down.

You started running towards the cafeteria as it was now lunch. Rin followed after you and found you in line. It was Wednesday, the one day of the week you paid for lunch for him and his brother. The one day of the week he didn't make his own lunch.

"Hi, so what's for lunch?" Rin asked you coming up to you as you studied what was on the menu.

"Go get your own." You replied harshly while paying for a pot roast.

You went outside while Rin just stayed there dumbfounded by your actions. You had always been nice and cheerful and above all else a great friend. The one he fell in love with.

Wait a second. Were you angry/ upset because he hadn't asked you out yet? Well, that's going to change. He was going to be a man (well as much of a man as one can be when they're part demon) and ask the girl of his dreams out: you.

"Where's [Y/N] at?" Yukio asked him.

"No idea. She's not paying for lunch." Rin explained.

"You mean she's not paying for your lunch." Yukio said. "I'm going to find her."

"Wait! Can I go talk to her first? Please?" Rin looked at his brother with the puppy dog eyes.

"Fine." Yukio said.

Rin left the cafeteria to go find the girl who took her lunch outside. Rin found you underneath a tree with Juin next to her getting chin scratches from you while you ate.

"Hi." Rin said making his presence noticed. "Can we talk?"

You look over to Juin who was nodding very fast in her cocker spaniel form. You nodded your head placing your food beside you and going with Rin to talk privately with him. The both of you knew Yukio was around somewhere watching you (and he probably assembled the [S/N] shippers to come and watch it with him).

"What do you want to talk-."

"Will you go out with me?" Rin said cutting you off.

You blinked at him. "..."

"Pardon me." You questioned.

"I've been neglecting doing this for a while, and I'm pretty sure we both know how the other one feels. And I know you've been acting weird because you're impatient, but I'm the idiot that thought we didn't need an official declaration or an official ask because we're Rin and [Y/N]. So will you go out with me?"
