𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙙𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙨―𝐑.𝐎. 𝐱 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫

Seventeen

You hadn't hears about the attack at the supply house, and Juin hadn't come to see you at all! You walked into the cram school classroom only to be shoved into the wall by Bon.

"What the hell is wrong with you? Why would you go after Moriyama? I thought she was your friend!" Bon shouted in your face.

What is he talking about? "What the hell are you talking about?"

"Moriyama's home had been destroyed by purple flames, and you are the only one who has them! So, why did you attack her?" Bon shouted once again.

"Get off of her!" The sound of an angry Rin came barreling in and punched Bon in the face.

Bon dropped you to the ground on the impact of Rin's punched. He made a noise that sounded like a growl at him before walking away towards Shima and Konekomeru. You looked at Rin and he averted meeting your eyes.

"Yukio is expecting lunch by the way." That was all Rin said before he walked away.

Shiemi walked into the classroom with a burn on her face and her arm. You looked down at your feet believing that Shiemi would blame you. That never happened. Instead, Shiemi's face lit up like a child on Christmas when they saw all of the presents.

"[Y/N]!" Shiemi ran towards you and gave you a hug.

You yelped feeling her run into you. You thought she would hate you for the purple flames that attacked her, but the person you saw was entirely different than what you were expecting in this scenario.

"Shiemi, are you okay?" You asked her.

"She's actually acting like she cares about what happens to Shiemi. What a load of bull!" Bon told Shima and Konekomeru.

You took Shiemi's hand and brought her to your seats. She knew what you were going to do. You snapped your fingers over her burn and dark blue flames appeared surrounded by white light.

"What are you doing? You're going to get her face even more burnt up!" Bon shouted at her.

"Shut up!" You said.

"Stop using your pyromancer flames on people!" Bon said.

"I said shut up or do you want to see the full extent of a pyromancer and a necromancer?" You snapped at Bon.

The flames went away off Shiemi's face and the burn that was there before was gone. Everyone gapped at the discovery. You did the same thing to her arm and the same thing happened.

"A pyromancer's dark blue flames don't hurt people, jackass! They heal them!" You told Bon.

"Thank you so much, [Y/N]!" Shiemi beamed.

Everyone smiled following Shiemi's lead. Then, Yukio came into the classroom.

"Today, class, we are going to the beach today for slaying a lower-level greco-roman monster called Telekhines." Yukio told everyone.

All everyone heard was "Beach" and "...day". They all zoomed out of the room and back into the room in a flash. They were on the bus going to the beach and they couldn't be more happier. Of course, you were a little sub-conscious about wearing your bikini on the beach where the boys could see it. Within no time, they got to the beach and they all left the bus.

"Hold on. Before anyone goes to the beach, we have to get this cooked and sell it." Yukio told them.

Their faces dropped. They had to cook "serpent" sticks and sell them. It was really actaully eel.

"Did Poiseidon put you up for it?" You asked him.

"The only reason we are allowed to be here and slay these monsters is to cook Poseidon's famous dish-."

"Lobster and eel shish kabobs." You shuddered.

"Then, let's get cooking!" Rin exclaimed a little too unhappy.

"There is something else. Grindylows only come on land during low tide and we have-." Mr. Tsubaki.

"Two hours, fifteen minutes, and forty six seconds give or take a few." You interrupted. Everyone turned to you with an awed expression. "My cousin and Poseidon taught me that trick."

"That explains everything." Shiemi commented.

Before long, they all had an idea to get the shish kabobs working. Rin would cook them, Konekomeru would supervise, Shima would get drinks ready, and everyone else would get the pool. Rin was a little too preoccupied with the shish kabobs, but that ceased when you walked by the stand with your bikini on. 

"Uh. Don't try to look." Rin kept muttering over and over again.

You didn't like the fact that Shima was checking you out or Rin was ignoring you. You rolled your eyes.

"Kuro, you coming?" You asked Rin's familiar.

Kuro looked over at you before looking back at Rin. Rin looked at his cat familiar before looking at you and mumbling incoherent words.

"Take good care of my cat, [Y/N]." Rin told her.

You hugged your floaty closer to your body. "Like I wasn't going to do that in the first place." You mumbled.

Rin looked at his familiar before whispering, "Take good care of that girl for me, Kuro. I don't want her to get hurt again!"

Kuro tilted his head at his best friend. You're only saying that, because you love that girl.

"I don't! Now, go with [Y/N], and have fun keeping her company." Rin told the cat before his best friend and the girl with the long [h/c] hair ran towards the ocean.

"I didn't know you had any self-control when seeing that girl in a bikini, Rin. Isn't she always in an oversized hoody?" Shima asked his friend.

"Shut up, Shima!" Rin yelled at him.

You ran to the ocean and taking your floaty and running into the ocean with Kuro on top of it. You waded in the ocean with Kuro curled up on your stomach as you stroked his fur.

Rin really likes you, [Y/N]. It's just that girl has him practically wrapped around her finger. I could smell her Godly Demon blood when he first brought her over. You were hearing Kuro speak in your head. You didn't know you could hear him too. You just thought that connection was with Juin only.

"Kuro, I don't know if I even like Rin. All I know is that when my cousin was about to shoot lightning at him, I jumped in front of him to spare him his life and took the damage. I only did it, so Yukio wouldn't kill me once he found out I was there when Rin got struck." You told the cat-sídhe.

He pawed at your face, and you laughed at that. You felt something in the water move. You could feel movement in the water. It wasn't until long spiny fingers grabbed your waist and pulled you in. You screamed. [Y/N]! Rin, something's drowning [Y/N]. Rin heard Kuro's cry as his familiar watched you be dragged deeper into the water.

Rin had finished with the shish kabobs and had put Shima on charge of selling them. The son of Satan ran towards the ocean and dived in searching for you. From beneath the water, you felt his presence and you attempted to reach for him. You missed as the grindylow dragged you deeper underwater. 

What did Chiron say to kill these monsters? All you remembered was to snap something.  But what did you snap. You turned around to face it. It looked like a goblin that was portrayed in the movies crossed with a squid. Break it's fingers, [Y/N]! It's fingers were long about seven inches each and they felt like they were covered in mucus, but also very boney.

You took a finger in your hand and snapped it in the middle. The grindylow immediately let go of you and floated up to the surface. Rin found your body and took you back to the beach. 

 "Don't scare me like that ever again damnit!" You heard Rin mutter as he carried you bridal style to the stand.

You stayed out of the ocean with a towel wrapped around your legs and a sweatshirt covering your top. Rin kept a subtle eye on you as he worked on cooking. You smiled softly to yourself drinking the tea that Shura had gotten you.
