Twenty Six

You skipped down the halls towards Yukio's classroom. Unfortunately (for you), Yukio was having a seemingly very animated coversation with his older brother. When the door closed behind you (faster than you could have stopped it), the two brothers stopped talking. You didn't know what it was (maybe your intuition), but you knew they were talking about you.

"I'm sorry. I think I'll just go." You turned around from the two Okumura brothers and walked out of the classroom.

You sighed to yourself and ready to turn and walk all the back to Annabeth's apartment. But unfortunately... no such luck.

"[Y/N], what are you doing?" Shiemi asked coming face to face with her friend.

"Uh, nothing." you lied.

You were waiting for Shiemi to say something about you practically rejecting Rin. Seeing as he would have immediately told his brother who would gave told her. But nothing. You sighed in relief upon realizing this.

"What's wrong?" Shiemi asked.

"Nothing." You told her.

"Then, why do you look like you're about to run away?" Shiemi asked me.

"Because I left something at Demetri's place, and I need to go get it." You lied.

Bella Sauve walked past the two of you. "You really made my job easier."

"Um... what?" You asked turning to her.

"You just gave me a direct path to the GDC's goal. By rejecting the son of satan." Bella said.

Wait. How did she know that? You thought to yourself.

Shiemi turned to looked at you and the look on her face told her everything. You had rejected Rin when he had asked you out.

"Playing on your insecurities was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Your service will be rewarded kindly to yourself the next time we come face to face." Bella told you.

You clenched your fists. "You did what?"

"I danced around your insecurities before ripping the string off that kept it from falling apart. Which worked. Thank you. Our new chapter begins soon." Bella explained.

But why do you need Rin? Just for his blood? You thought to yourself not dare saying it out loud.

"Why would you do that?" You asked.

Bella held her head in her hand. "Must you ask the stupid questions." She looked up at you. "By killing our parents and bringing on a new order!"

"But why Rin? Why him specifically?" You asked. Now you're asking the hard questions.

"Because Akemi thought it would be best for her bastard sister to feel the pain all of us feel." Bella told her smiling kindly.

"What?!?!" And she erupted in flames.

Flames that were every shade of every color you could think of. And with that, [Y/N] threw a white flaming fist at Bella. However, Bella swerved out of the way.

"You can't attack with white fire. It slows you down." Bella said.

You shot beams of every color flame at her. She dodged every single one. This only made you angrier than you were before. So, you threw a punch at her since your fire barely grazed her (and by barely, I mean not at all). Bella dodged the flying fist and kicked you in the stomach. You stumbled backwards before grabbing her leg as she attempted to kick you again. You threw her back, and she landed on the ground.

You got on top of her and started to punch her. But with your punches on her, she grabbed your hair and yanked you to the ground turning the tables on you. She did the same as you did and you did the same as her. And it turned into a game of switcheroo. That was until Yukio ripped you off of her and Shura held Bella back.

"[Y/N], calm down!" Yukio shouted at her.

"Let go of me!" You tried to wiggle out of Yukio's grasp.

"Only if you promise you'll calm down and not attack Ms Suave." Yukio said.

"I promise, Yuki. I won't harm a single hair on her head." Yukio let you go after a moment of giving you look to make sure you weren't lying.

"Rin, take [Y/N] to get cleaned up. Bella, come with me." Shura said.

"What happened back there?" Rin asked as he led you to his and his brother's room where their medical supplies were kept.

"Bella Suave happened." You told him.

"Why do you hate Bella anyway? She's a great person once you get to know her." Rin asked you.

"Well, because she's part of an evil cult that wants to destroy the hierarchy of the world." You told him.

"She's only in it because Ares killed her father." Rin explained.

"But Ares is her father."

"No, Bella's an Aphrodite demigod. Ares is what makes Aphrodite demigods extinct. He makes them their children." Rin explained.

"What?"
