Third Person
Shriveled laces, sodden surfaces, all there was to the room were huffs, puffs and sweat drops.
Solemn strains the air while repeated footsteps take their prints towards the dance floor. Humid as can be, it never fazes these idol-to-be male artists.
There was no backing down now. These rookies are all fixated to the expectations of the chairman and his entertainment company. Many moons of twisting and turning amounts to the incredible attributes they hold today.
All in a days work, they finish their session assured of their success and their progressive infrastructure within the group, building up for that "big day".
"Alright boys, don't forget to keep hydrated and I'll see you all tomorrow." The manager concludes as he packs his things and exits the room.
Holding a firm stance, the boys harmoniously collapsed to the saturated floor, pointing their limbs to all four walls surrounding the boxed-up room. Some adjust themselves against the mirrored-wall, glancing towards themselves.
Minutes pass and the boys are still recovering, the past few days have been rather intense for them. The consequence of hard-work is definitely hitting them.
However, unlike the first few weeks of immense training where the current rookies and the new rookies were practically foreign to each other, there were many words to be heard as they all converse about.... everything!
From Ten finally speaking more inattentively to Haechan finally comforting other members other than Mark. These rookies were no longer the "New Rookies + Old Rookies". They were all combined to be a new-founded family. Clinging onto each other for support and encouragement.
On that note, one question floats the air as Taeyong asks the members what they have planned for the remainder of the night.
Everyone responds claiming they had nothing planned. All was confident except one, Winwin.
Something at the back of his mind knocks, however, nothing rings a bell for him.
While he clouds his attention from the rest of the group, he positions himself in a cradled position, facing the mirrored-wall reflecting the rest of the boys.
Winwin's gaze traces up to the ceiling reflecting off onto the mirror, swiftly trailing around each section of the room until his eyes hesitantly stop on a familiar figure.
Usually Winwin immediately flings his eyes against the being, but without hesitating, his eyes cling onto the flamboyant, yet incredibly elegant profile.
Clearly the being was Yuta.
He had always remained the same as always, menacing and can come across as extremely ignorant. But to Winwin, that wasn't the case.
Winwin could feel his face combusting, making his blood boil. It wasn't his mild-temper, but rather something unfamiliar to Winwin's knowledge.
As formidable as it seemed for him, he could not hold back what he was thinking. He knew briefly why he felt his face heating up, but it was never acknowledged by Winwin. However, he keeps staring and admires the clean-cut male's jawline and his fluxed hair.
It didn't faze him to look until he realized that Yuta was also looking back.
Yuta looks at Winwin with a slight tilt to his eyebrow, curious to know why he's being "examined" by the younger. However, it didn't faze Winwin. At this point, there were no longer any harsh feelings between the couple, but there was still a wall holding them apart. It was never created by Yuta, but moreso Winwin himself.
Suddenly, a sudden bang hits Winwin's head as he remembers something very important happening tonight. He then checks his phone, noticing that there was no time to spare, he had to evacuate immediately!
With that, he bows to the rest of the boys and leaves without saying a word. The boys were left wondering why he was in a rush, but it never got to them since they didn't really care.
"Maybe he has a girlfriend..." Doyoung blatantly says, making the boys giggle. However, it made Yuta flinch a bit and Taeyong notice.
Taeyong frowns at the male leaning on the wall, "You good?" He asks in order to comfort the male.
"Fine." Yuta looks back up at Taeyong with the bright-faked smile he always shows to scare Taeyong.
Instead, Taeyong pats his head and caresses his shoulder. "Stop hiding" Taeyong blatantly confesses to the male, allowing the remainder of the boys to hear what they were saying.
It left the boys all confused, except for Yuta. Since he knew exactly what Taeyong meant.
Yuta shakes Taeyong's hand off of his shoulder and storms off out of the dance studio. Taeyong didn't budge, but instead, he was left smirking at the male walking out of the dance studio. Leaving a remark for Yuta.
"Don't make the same mistake, Yuta."
-------
