八 Eight

I couldn't believe it, everything went so good!

"Ya, pass me the salad" Haechan huffed.

"Ya! Come get it yourself" Mark sneered.

Everyone seemed to be immersed into their own eating, they completely ignored the bickering between the two whilst feasting on a hearty meal.

Finally, for once we've all come together to enjoy each others company and not exclude each other out. Most of the time we're all huddled up in our own spaces while we are in the dorm and only talk to each other during practices.

Tonight felt so different, yet, in a very good way.

It was such a lovely evening. Giggles and laughs, charades of happiness and cheers of celebration, it was definitely a night to remember.

I swear I even saw Yuta smile at one point.

*cling cling*

Taeyong suddenly taps his glass as he stands up, "Alright boys, we all had fun today yeah?" Everyone cheered in agreement, "You all did great today, I could feel everyone psyched up during the performance and it also motivated me as well. Let's keep up the great work!"

"Soon, we'll be the ones needing an opening act."

Everyone clapped as Taeyong sat back down.

Johnny stopped up shortly after, "I'd also like to acknowledge Winwin for his persistence during this. He is an example of hard work, so great work Winwin." Everyone clapped whilst Kun wrestled my back with not-so-comforting but also very comforting pats.

I couldn't help but burst out with a smile. Nothing could hold back this feeling. For once, I was complimented for my work and everyone acknowledged me. I feel so good being here.

Of course, Yuta was quiet as per usual. I wasn't surprised, if only he opened up a bit more.
But that shouldn't be any of my concern.

With that said, we all quickly finished our meal and packed up everything getting ready for bed. Yuta didn't help and was first to bed, while the group slowly detached one-by-one as they return to their rooms, me included.

He was already asleep, I was slightly agitated but it couldn't be helped.

Argh~ I gasped as I quickly rose from my sleep as I heard a huge thump from somewhere in the room. I turned to the door, it seemed like nothing happened.

I was too lazy to walk around and have a look, so instead I remained in my bed making myself scared while contemplating more about it.

As I lay back down, I could feel an unbearably-cold breeze coming from the opened window. I don't even know why it would be open in the first place as it was this cold!

I got up to close the window and something came to my mind.
He was staring out into the sky that night.

I couldn't help myself but admire the sky myself, how beautiful and thrilling stargazing was never came to me until this very moment.

*bang bang bang* 

The fireworks cracked from a distance as its' colors blustered. I was wondering if Yuta was woken by this beautiful scenery until I realised he wasn't in his bed.

I thought that man was weird enough, I didn't think it would get to this extent.

With that said, I couldn't help but think of the many possibilities why he wasn't there. Maybe I'm just over-contemplating and need to sleep, but I'm very curious of why he ain't there.

He probably went to the parade down there.

No Winwin.

I quickly changed into an appropriate, but reasonably comfortable and warm outfit and climbed out of the window.

Was this the right choice? I don't know.
Will I regret it? Most likely.

I didn't know where I needed to start looking, I don't even know why I'm looking, but I ended up walking towards the big parade in charge of all the fireworks being showcased.

There were couples after couples after couples, either sharing a stick with cotton candy or linking arms while gazing up into the navy blue sky. The lights were dim, but bright enough to make the atmosphere very romantic.

I couldn't believe my eyes, I love watching fireworks! It reminded me of that time I went to that BTS concert a few months ago. Not a single flaw in sight, it was too good to be true.

A few hours went by and I just finished my 7th game playing whack-a-mole. There were so many people lined up behind me, but I seriously couldn't care less.

If only Kun was here, we'd probably hijack and cause havoc to a lot of these game stands. I should've woken him up and bring him here.

Wait

I was meant to look for someone, Yuta right? Ugh, this is seriously annoying.
Why am I even bothered to look for him, I'm just gonna go back to the dorm.

"What are you doing here?"
