"It takes darkness to be aware of the light" ~ Treasure Tatum

People would think Yuta and I would be great pals after that impactful night.
Well unfortunately, those people are wrong.
Instead, it became even more awkward.
This wouldn't have been the case if I wasn't the one that was being awkward.
-----
I open my eyes to a blissful sight. The sun soothing into my skin as I plead for it's happiness.
As expected, the sight of neatly tucked-in blankets and velvety pillows positioned almost symmetrical was displayed. No one to be found.
I sigh as I slowly push myself out of my paradise and back into reality. Suddenly, when all was right, a hiss came to be.
My head lowers as I raise the pain. Damn, last night was definitely a ride, now my hand is distraught.
However, I couldn't help but smile. At least I know for sure that this was not a dream.
The door suddenly slams open as a familiar figure waltz in. As I raise my head, I witness a soft substance clash into my face, making me fall back onto my bed.
"Get up loser, we're going shopping." was all I could hear from the guy.
I quickly get back up and throw the pillow back to the guy, "You're an idiot, Kun." I said with a grin on my face. "You literally have 10 minutes before I leave you behind!" He declares.
With that, I shrug my shoulders and lay back down on my bed, surrounding myself in it's presence.
Kun quickly rushes towards my bed and jumps onto me, making me hide myself even more under the blanket.
"You pabo, you're coming with me even if I have to wrap you in this blanket and carry you."
"No~!" I whine as consecutive bashes from the pillow impacts the blanket protecting me. I found it funny and cute since Kun and I barely had any time to hang out after our busy schedule. Luckily time is now in my hands.
As the commotion started to settle down, it took me a while to notice that Kun was directly sitting on top of me, legs on either side of my hips, facing me.
"Ya! Why is your face red?" Kun asked suspiciously, narrowing his eyebrows.
I wasn't too sure myself, but I could feel my face heating up.
"It's fucking hot!" I shouted more than I intended to. Sounding agitated just to make it less awkward.
However, to make matters worse, Yuta walks into the room unexpectedly.
He stares at us, expressionless as usual. But something about his expressionless face made me feel... worried? He then points his eyes to my hand, in which he aided last night, which also makes me look at it and then back to him.
Kun decides to hop off and stand to greet him, but he simply turned away to continue what he had planned. As awkward as things were, Kun gives me a nudge to get ready and I abide.
There was tension as soon as I got ready. The moment I leave the room I'm left a glance of emotionless eyes from Yuta. They were definitely emotionless.
But why could I see more than I saw?
---
I will never shop with Kun ever again. I swear we were looking at the same clothing rack for one hour, picturing whether he'd look good in that white "legalize it" hoodie or a denim jacket he definitely did not need since he already has 20 other jackets back at the dorm.
