Vernon's POV.

I fixed my suit up as I walked over with the rest of Seventeen for some more interviews. Scoups, our leader was answering the next question which I wasn't paying attention to that much until I heard my name.

"Vernon, I've heard rumors that Ellie's group, (Your group name), will be performing today. You guys have only been broken up for a month. How do you feel about seeing her on stage?" The reporter asked with a smile. I felt a comforting hand on my back that the cameras couldn't see.

I swallowed the lump in my throat. I did not know she was going to be here. I'm guessing neither did the rest of Seventeen by their faces. I answered how I knew that the manager would want me to answer. I didn't want any drama to start so I answered professionally.

"There is no bad blood between Ellie and I and I still support her and her group. I wish them all well and hope they have a successful performance." I smiled to show that I was done answering and leaned back. The reporter ended the interview and we moved on. That was the last one.

Scoups hyung came up and put an arm around me.

"You did well Vernon, and I honestly had no idea that she would be here. Are you going to be okay? If you need to leave when she goes up just shoot me a look okay?" He asked worriedly. I smiled at him gratefully.

"Thank you, I didn't know either. But I will be fine. We did end it nicely and I'm happy for her. But if I do need anything I know who to go to. Thanks hyung," I patted his back and we entered the building.

The flashing of cameras had stopped and we all found our seat around a table. I looked at the running sheet and programs. Ellies group would be performing the opening act. It was going to start soon.

I wonder if she's feeling nervous. I missed being able to text her and call her, wish her luck. Kiss her before she ran on stage. My thoughts got interupted as Joshua started talking to me.

We talked for only 10 minutes when the lights went out, the show was starting. The two hosts from Weekly idol were hosting todays show.

"Welcome everyone, you all look great, I hope you are all anticipating the first act of the night. These girls have been training hard."

I shifted in my seat as I knew exactly who they were about to introduce. I saw my hyungs looking at me worriedly but I didn't make eye contact.

"To start of this show with a big bang here is (Group name) performing their new song (title song)!" The crowd cheered. I clapped along, I couldn't take my eyes away from the stage. Six girls were already on stage in position as the lights came back on.

I saw Ellie. I had my eye on her as soon as I spotted her. She was beautiful and I couldn't help but smile. She started singing into her microphone. She nailed the notes and choreography as usual.

She was beautiful. I couldn't stop staring at her. I saw her eyes flicker to the big screen and she smirked to herself. I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at the big screen.

I was being shown. They were filming my reaction to my ex girlfriends performance. Of course. They all knew I was staring and smiling at her. The love in my eyes was obvious. It never went away. I just ignored it and enjoyed the show.

I told the group where I was going and they wished me luck. The show was over and I quickly found my way backstage. I saw one of the members of her group and she saw me.

"Hey Ellie! I think someone is here for you." She yelled out to Ellie who I still couldn't see. Then she stepped out from her dressing room and she saw me.

"Can we talk please?" I asked hopefully. She nodded and walked back into her dressing room and I followed her and shut the door behind me. I took a nervous breath.

"Ellie, I miss you. I really do. Seeing you again after a month really hit me. I couldn't keep my eyes off of you-" I started to say but she interupted me.

"Yeah I saw that on the screen. I looked pretty good in that dress huh?" She cocked her eyebrow. She was teasing me. Of course this wasn't going to be easy. I huffed. I was going to work for it.

"Yeah...you did. You always look beautiful. I never stopped loving you. So what do you say?" I step closer to her. I silently prayed for to say yes. Before she could say anything one of her band mates interupted us.

"Oh for god sakes Ellie. You haven't shut up about him for a month. Just kiss him!" She said popping up from behind the couch and then ran out of the room. I smiled widely. My time to tease.

"I guess I can come back later if its not a good time." I started to turn around smirking and she grabbed my jacket and pulled me into her lips. I melted into them. Her hands were still on my jacket and I grabbed her waist holding her closer to me. It felt good to hold and kiss her again.

When we pulled away I looked at her grinning.

"I missed you so much," I breathed out.
