Give Me Love

Inspiration - Part 15

Haley and Louis rush out to his car passing a very confused Nana on their way out. Haley makes it to the car before Louis so she steals the drivers seat. "No time to argue Louis we need to find Harry before something happens to him." She says knowing Louis was about to protest her driving his car, she's a rather reckless driver. "Yes yes, I just hope we make it there alive." He jokes trying to lighten the mood but Haley ignores him. He quickly puts his seat belt on and takes a deep breath preparing himself for the ride. 

Haley speeds off down the road going way over the speed limit, just as Louis is about to say something Haley's phone rings loudly in their ears, the annoying sound echoing throughout the small car. Louis grabs her phone before she has the chance to look down at it, she needs to keep her eyes forward. "Shit." He mutters under his breath but Haley hears him anyways. "What, who is it ?!" she says sounding panicked. "No worries." He puts the phone to his ear ignoring Haley's question. 

"Haley is currently busy anything the lovely Louis Tomlinson can assist you with?" Haley's Nana quickly screams in his ear wanting an explanation right away as to why they left the house. Louis pulls the phone a little away from his face and grimaces at the loud noise filling his ear. Right as he's about to give her a half ass excuse Haley pulls a sharp right turn and accidentally goes over the curb. "Oh for fucks sake Haley you just went over a curb, try not getting us killed thanks." Louis yells at her. "The curb was in my way, chill out your cars fine." Haley looks over her shoulder and sees red and blue lights that start to fallow them." Fucking hell." They say at the same time. "EXCUSE ME WHAT IS GOING ON I NEED ANSWERS NOW OUR I WILL CALL HER FATHER." Louis hears coming from the phone, he completely forgot that her Nana was on the phone. God this is stressing him out. 

The cop car signals for them to pull over, luck really is not on their side right now. "No no that's not necessary, just really a bad time love gotta go." Louis says quickly into the phone before she has a chance to respond. 

Haley pulls off to the side of the road and impatiently taps her fingers on the steering wheel. This cop is really about to have a bad day if he doesn't let them go. Louis sees the cop get out of her car and a light bulb goes off in his head. Time to use his Tomlinson charm. He looks at Haley and claps his hands in front of her face to get her attention, she looks at him with an annoyed expression on her face. "Let me do the talking, you'll just dig us into a deeper hole." Her annoyance turns to confusion. "What could you possibly do that would get us out of this?" Louis gives her a little wink "Just wait and see." 

The lady cop gently taps on the window asking them to roll it down. Haley does what she says and presses the button still looking straight ahead avoiding the gaze of the cop. "Excuse me but did you realize you went over a curb back there?" She asks the angry blonde girl in front of her. No response. Wait a great way to start my first day, she thinks to herself. "Hi ya, Louis Tomlinson, good to see a pretty face protecting our busy streets. Don't mind my friend here she's just had a REALLY bad day." Louis says reaching over Haley to stick his hand out of the window. He really hopes this lady can't sense the act he's putting on. 

The lady wraps her hand around his accepting his hand shake. She doesn't look at him weird in fact she's smiling making Louis believe it's working. "Well thank you, just doing my job, my names Star." Perfect, Louis thinks to himself. "Star, wow that's a beautiful name, I like it, almost as beautiful as the woman I'm looking at right now." He says locking eyes with her and giving her a big smile. A small blush creeps onto Star's face and Louis catches Haley giving her a strange look from the corner of his eye. He admits that this star woman is rather attractive, but they really need to get going. 

"Wow thank you, you're the first guy that hasn't used some cheesy pick up line on me that goes with my name, it's a nice change." Louis chuckles. "Look let my friend off here with a warning she's been having a really stressful day you can understand right, besides no one was around to get hurt, just us, let us leave and I can promise that I have millions of cheesy pick up lines for you that I can try on you sometime?" He says digging through the glove box in his car finding a pen and napkin, quickly scribbling his number down. Star accepts his offer and gives him a small wave as she walks back to her car. "See ya around."
