When Harry left the first thing Haley did was grab her phone and call Louis, she hoped he wasn't still angry with her, she needed to tell him everything that just happened. She clicks on his picture in her contacts it rings once but then goes straight to voice mail. That fucker, I could be dying and he wouldn't even know. She thought to herself. She lies on her bed and tries again, the same thing happens but this time she leaves a message.

"Hey its Haley, your favorite person in the world, I know you hate me right now, but you need to get over it because I really need to talk to you, please, this is serious, come pick me up, we can't talk about it at my house." She says and then ends the call.

Two minutes later Haley's phone goes off telling her she has a text message. She looks down.

Louis : I'll be there in 5 minutes, meet me outside

Haley gets up from her bed and runs to the bathroom to brush her teeth and put her hair up in a messy bun since she hadn't showered yet, it was just Louis she didn't need to impress him. She changes out off last nights clothes and throws on some leggings and a sweat shirt. She heads for the door and stops in the kitchen, where he was eating breakfast, to tell him where she was going. He looks up from his tea and looks at her waiting for her explanation.

"Louis taking me out for ice cream dad I'll be back later." She says trying to rush out of the door quickly. She hates lying to her dad, but he's been lying to her, so ha karma. His voice interrupts her thoughts. "Ice cream for breakfast and during winter?" She stops and turns towards him. "It's never to cold for ice cream Dad." She puts her hands on her hips and waits for his reply. "OK have fun, stay safe, and text Nana when you're gonna be back." She shakes her head yes. She's so glad that Louis was on her Dads good side, if he wasn't he wouldn't let her leave with him so easily. "Wait, aren't you forgetting something?" Haley turns around a little confused and Zayn points to his cheek and so does Nana. She walks over and gives them both a quick kiss on the cheek and then finally leaves her house.

She walks outside just as Louis is pulling up. She hops into the car and buckles up. He doesn't even look at her, he just speeds off down the road. Wow OK he's still angry with me, that's gonna make this conversation so much more fun. She thinks to herself. She rest her head on the window and listens to the music Louis has playing.

After a 10 minute drive Louis comes to a stop in a parking lot in front of an empty field in the middle of no where. To a random person this field would be a boring place that meant nothing, but to Louis and Haley this place meant everything, it's where they come every time they have a fight to talk it out. Louis says that having lots of open space around you to be free in can really help make you feel comfortable and say what's on their mind.

Haley hopes they're staying in the car to talk because of the cold London air but she gets disappointed when Louis opens his door and steps outside. Haley follows him and gets out of the car.

They both stop at the front of the car and lean on it not looking at each other. Haley hated when Louis was angry with her. She really needed him on her side with this and if he's already angry with her then it's going to be even harder to convince him. He shrugs his shoulders and speaks first. "So what was so important." Haley shifts uncomfortably, she wishes she could run into his arms. "I know you hate me right now, but I really need you to not be mad at me anymore and just listen to what I have to say, I really need my best friends support." Haley says all at once. "Wow wow kid slow down." Louis facial expressions soften a little and he turns to face her. He would never want her to think he hates her. "I don't hate you, I could never hate you, I can get upset with you yes, but never hate you, just breath and tell me what's going on." He says laying one arm over her shoulders and pulling her closer to him.

In any other circumstances his hugs would calm her down, but this time she was way to nervous about what she had to tell him. "My dad was mad at me of course when my cousins told him how drunk I got, so we had a small fight, but that's not why I called you out here." Louis looks down at her then back out towards the field. "Just tell me, this is our place to be free remember, so let it out."

Haley lets out a deep breath and gives in. "My Dad has been lying to me about my past, he always told me he didn't know anything about the place that I came from, but during our little argument he confessed to me that He knew so much more. He hired someone to look into my past, but then kept it from me, I can understand why he did it but at the same time, it still hurts, he told me today that my birth mom was a major alcoholic and did terrible things to me, whatever that's supposed to mean. Anyways, that's all he told me, I know he knows more, but I don't want him to tell me, I want to find out for myself."

Haley looks up to Louis and he looks like he's deep in thought. "So what do you think, will you help me, I really need you, I won't be able to face this on my own." His silence is worrying Haley. "I wish you would stop doing this." He finally says. She looks at him confused and removes herself from his arm. "Doing what?" He takes in a deep breath. "I wish you would stop putting yourself in danger, this is dangerous Haley, you have no idea who these people could be Haley or what they're capable of, why do you even need to know you have an amazing Dad and Nana that love you and take care about you, why do you need to know about what those bad people did to you when you were younger." Haley looks at him a little hurt. " It's not like I'm trying to runaway from home and start a new life with these people, that would be stupid and crazy of me I would never do that to my dad are you crazy, I just want answers Louis, so that I can heal and maybe stop having my freak panic attacks from dumb things. I need this Louis, and I needed your support but it doesn't look like I'm gonna get it."

Haley looks away to stop herself from crying. Louis goes to put his hand on her shoulder but she brushes him off. "I'm not going to support you doing something that will most defiantly put you in danger I'm sorry Haley, I'm sorry I care about you and don't want anything to happen to you, it's a terrible plan just leave it alone." She turns back around and faces him, not caring that tears are rolling down her face. "Whatever, I'm still gonna do it, I'll just get Harry to help me, I know he will, we've become close, he'll help me, so just forget about it."

Louis steps back a little surprised. "Harry?" Haley looks at him, "Ya what about him?" She's starting to get annoyed with Louis. "You've been hanging out with Harry?" Louis doesn't know how to feel about this. Harry is one of his best mates, but he's known Haley for almost 3 years and then Harry just comes out of no where and swoops in to steal her? Not fair. "Yes we're friends he's really nice and we get a long really well and I have a lot of fun when I'm around him, instead of fighting like I do when I'm with you." Haley knew she shouldn't have said that but sometimes she couldn't stop the words coming from her mouth when she was mad. "He was there when my dad said what he said, so he knows what I'm going through and want's to help in any way he can, so since you won't help me, he will, again."

Louis looks to the floor feeling sad. What Haley said hurt him, but he knew he deserved it, he shouldn't have left her in that pub. He stays silent not really sure what to say. Since when did their friendship start falling apart? "You should go home, I'll call Harry and have him pick me up." Louis just nods his head and gets in his car. To upset and to confused about his emotions to think straight or to say anything so he just rolls down his window and says. "Stay safe." Haley nods her head at him. "As always." She says and then watches as he drives off leaving her in the grass.
