Meeting Him - Part 3

Louis leads Haley to the private section of the party where there's a table with three guys sitting around it. When they reach the table all three guys stand up to greet Haley. The first one Haley greets has blonde hair and blue eyes with an Irish ascent. Niall. She says to her self. When she leans forward to shake his hand she catches the guy with long curly hair checking her out from the corner of her eye. Not sly at all. After she shakes Niall's hand and smiles at him she looks in the direction of the curly haired guy and pulls her dress down farther and covers her body with her arms, he notices and looks away a little embarrassed that he got caught. Good Haley thought, I hope he got the message that what he did made me uncomfortable, at least try to hide it better when you're staring at some one, she thinks to her self. 

She turns towards the second guy and shakes his hand also. He has brown hair that's styled up and has big brown eyes. Liam. He compliments how she looks and she thanks him before turning to the last guy. Harry. The not so sly perv. She breaths trying to calm down before introducing herself to him. Don't judge him before you know him, she keeps saying that in her head. She reaches her hand out for him to shake it. He looks a little surprised at the offer. Good that means he knows he fucked up, maybe that's a good sign. When he grabbed her hand she noticed how much more green his eyes were in person. Very beautiful actually. 

"Well guys this is my one and only kid best friend Haley, you happy you met her now and will you finally be off my ass?" Louis asks them joking around. They all laugh in unison and Harry seems more comfortable now that, that awkward situation is over. "So you guys have really been asking about me that much?" Haley asks. They all sit down at the table. Louis and Liam are sitting on either side of Haley and then Harry and Niall are on the other side of the table. "Of course we have, we wanna know who this girl is that managed to steal our best friend." Liam says looking at her not smiling. Haley feels kind of scared now. She didn't mean to steal anyone. The table goes quiet and Louis puts his hand on Haley's shoulder. "He's kidding darling it's a joke." All four of them start laughing and smiling and Haley relaxes in her chair. She was worried she already fucked up. Thank god it was just a joke. 

"So how did Louis even meet you before the rest of us, we go to your dads label parties all the time." Harry asks Haley from across the table. "Well actually it's kind of funny, I don't Know if Louis wants me to embarrass him." Haley says looking at Louis and laughing a little as he gives her the death glare. "OH please do tell." Niall said leaning in closer so he doesn't miss anything. "So I-" Haley was about to tell them but she got cut off by Louis putting his hand over her mouth. Haley licks his hand but he doesn't budge. Everyone is laughing their asses off while Liam is getting up to sit on Louis and pin him down so Haley could finish her story. "Now Haley please do continue." Liam said. Louis groans and covers his face from everyone as Haley tells the story. 

"So to start off I should probably tell you guys the reason you haven't met me at any of my dads parties is because I try to stay in my room the whole time. I'm not a big party person and when it's really crowded I can start to get uncomfortable, especially if I'm not around people I know, but Louis met me at one of the first parties that you guys came to at my house I think. Well it was getting kind of late during the party and I was just relaxing in my room in my Pj's and I guess I had forgotten to lock my door that night so half way through the show I was watching my door bursts open and scares the living shit out of me, it's Louis stumbling in drunk and mumbling a bunch or random stuff, well anyways I tried to get him to leave by yelling at him and trying to push him out of the door but he was so drunk that there was no talking to him haha, so he throws up on my floor and passes out on my bed so I give up and let him have my bed and he's so drunk that he keeps calling me mommy. well anyways the next morning I wake up and see that he's still in my bed and I realize how terrible it would look if my Dad or my Nana would walk in so I start throwing stuff at him to get him to wake up and of course it freaks him out so we're just standing there yelling at each other and I eventually convinced him to sneak out my window so my Dad wouldn't see him and Kill him. Anyways he felt really bad so after that every party he would go looking for me and keep trying to win my friendship as an apology and well, as you can see it worked." 

All of the guys started laughing and Louis hid his face even more. " You called her mommy?" Niall asked, poking fun at Louis. "I was drunk OK, gosh." Louis says trying to defend himself. "It's OK I still love you." Haley says and leans over to give him a kiss on the cheek. "So, if you embarrassed me does that mean I get to embarrass you?" Haley's smile drops and she gives Louis a death glare. Liam gets off of Louis and sits back down in his seat. "It's only fair Haley, do I need to hold you down like I did Louis?" Liam asks her. Haley starts to feel panicked. "NO, PLEASE DON'T!"  Everyone goes quiet and looks at her. "Hey, calm down, it's OK, it was just a joke." Liam says and tries to put his arm around her in a comforting way but she pushes him away. She gets up from the table and quickly goes to the nearest exit to get some air and try to calm herself down. Louis looks at the rest of the guys. " The family that Haley was in before Zayn adopted her was terrible to her, she hasn't even told me everything, just enough, so certain things like holding her down can trigger her and cause her to panic, don't beet yourself up man it's alright you didn't know." Louis gives Liam a sympathetic pat on the back and then looks at the other three. "I'll be back." He gets up and goes after Haley. 

Haley is standing outside in the cold holding her arms as she shivers, she doesn't care that she's freezing, she just really needed to get out of there before her anxiety got worse. She sees Louis walk around the corner and she starts walking towards him. He wraps her arms around her and holds her tightly. She begins to sob a little. " I'm so sorry I ruin everything, we were all having such a good time and then my stupid ass had to go and get in the way and fuck it up, I'm so sorry." Louis pats her head down and she clenches her fists onto the back of his shirt. "Shhhhh, love you need to calm down and just focus on your breathing, it's OK you didn't ruin anything so please don't ever talk about yourself like that again. You didn't ruin anything trust me, it'll be OK just shhhhhhh." She begins to calm her breathing down and lets go of him for a second to look up at him. "I don't know what I would do with out you." She says as Louis kisses the top of her head. A husky male voice interrupts their moment. "Um, not trying to interrupt but, we all feel really bad, especially Liam, he was to nervous to come and say this himself so that's why I'm here but ya anyways, we all feel terrible and want to make it up to you, so we were wondering if you wanted to go out to pub with us, the party is pretty much over so we just thought it would be a fun idea, we would understand if you don't want to come but we all really want you to." Harry says and then looks down at his shoes before saying the net part. "Especially me, I would really like you to come." 

Suddenly two pairs of heals walk up causing a grown to leave Haley's mouth and an eye roll from Louis. "She would love to come, but of course we would have to go with her, her fathers rules, we're like her babysitters." Debbie says while Tess shamelessly checks out Harry. Harry scoots away from her standing a little closer to Haley. "I don't need a babysitter." Haley hates it when they make her feel like a little girl, they're only a few years older then her. "Oh ya we can so tell, you've already had almost one panic attack, you know what never mind, don't come to the pub, we'll just go, you wouldn't be able to handle it anyways." Debbie says getting a little in Haley's face while Tess mocks Haley by pretending to shake and cry. Haley feels a surge of anger go through her body and now she feels like she has to prove them wrong. She turns and faces Harry. "I'll go, it'll be fun." She can hear Debbie and Tess groaning out of annoyance, they didn't win this time. Louis steps in. "Haley, you don't have to go if you don't want to, don't listen to them, if you wanna go home then just go home please, I don't want you to have another panic attack." Haley turns around and looks at Louis a little hurt by his words, she knows he's just trying to look out for her, but right now she really needed him to back her up. " I'm going Louis, I can take care of myself, I'll be fine, thanks for the support mate." Harry smirks a little at Haley's new found confidence. "All right whatever you say kid." Louis backs up not trying to piss her off anymore. 

"Perfect, the guys are already in the car, shall we be off?" Harry asks looking into Haley's blue eyes. Tess comes up to Harry and tries to wrap her arm around him but he evades her. Instead he holds his arm out to Haley. She hesitates for a second but then wraps her arm around his, earning a glare from Tess. She just smiles at her as they all walk to the car and pile in.
