When Roderich got home, the first thing that caught his eye was what looked like dark wood shutters in front of the living room. It stretched from the edge of the hall all the way to the wall that separated the kitchen and the living room. It didn't touch that wall and left a little walkway to get in and out of the living room.

He approached it and went in. He didn't know how to feel about what he saw. It looked like a room. The air mattress was nice enough with better bedspread than what he's been making do with. On top of that, it felt organized. He didn't like the thought that you had to touch his stuff, but he had to admit, it looked better than the mess he left the room in this morning.

As he looked over the room with mixed emotions, he heard a door and you, "I got a quick announcement. To the dining room, everyone!"

He went out of the living room to the assigned meeting spot where you and his brothers showed up. He caught himself staring at you. For the first time since he's met you, you looked like you tried on your appearance. Your hair seemed done up, and your clothes were something other than sweats and a tee-shirt.

"What are you all dressed up for?" Lutz asked you.

"Though I don't want to, I'm going out and leaving you boys home alone tonight." You looked over all three and continued, "Now, when I come back, A: you should still be here; B: there should not be any other people here, and C: you better have my house in the exact same condition as when I left it. Understood?"

"Yes, ma'am," Gil and Lutz chorused.

You shifted your eyes to Roderich.

He huffed and nodded a little. "Yeah, whatever."

"Good," you said. "Now, don't let me come back and any of the three things I listed done happened, cause then somebody getting they ass beat, ya hear? I ain't playing with y'all. Fuck up my house, and I'm fucking up ya asses."

"Come on, ma," Lutz said. "Do you even know how old we are?"

"Of course I do. I birthed you, boy, so I also know you hardheaded and think you slick. Don't think you too old for me to backhand sense into that thick ass skull of yours."

"D-don't worry, mama," Gil said. "W-we'll be fine. I-I promise."

"Aww." You combed through Gil's hair and kissed his forehead. "Thank you, sweetie."

"I got a question," Roderich said. He pointed his thumb towards the living room. "What's with that?"

"Hmm? Oh, I got your room set up. Better than a little tent, ain't it?"

You turned back towards the hall. "I'm going to be heading out soon. Y'all behave."

Roderich looked to both of his brothers once you left.

"W-where do you think mama's going?" Gilligan asked Lutz.

"Somewhere she don't need to be," he said. "Bet Nancy talked her into going out to a bar or some shit. That girl's always all in ma's personal life."

"A-a bar? T-those places are so dangerous. I-I don't want mama to get hurt," Gil whined.

Lutz slapped the back of Gil's head. "Shut yo stupid ass up. Ma's smart enough and strong enough to beat the shit outta anybody."

"I wouldn't be surprised if she came back with a new step-dad for you two," Roderich said.

"My mom's not a fucking whore like Lenard," Lutz said. "I know you're used to him bringing back different bitches in all hours of the night, but you better watch your fucking mouth when talking about my mom."
