Rossi's POV

Cassidy was snuggled up on a park bench, and she actually looked quite cozy.

We approached her silently, and she didn't stir.

"Cassidy." Morgan cooed.

Cassidy blinked her soft hazel eyes and looked up.

I looked at her. She was so tired that I didn't get any body language from her. Nothing to explain why she ran away.

"Cassidy, it's time to go home now." I told her.

Cassidy's eyes were filled with distress and she blinked them shut to attempt to ignore us.

Morgan smirked and gently picked her up, carrying her back to the SUV. I grabbed her bike and placed it in the trunk.

We all sighed (except Cassidy, who was fast asleep). It was more of a breathe of relief for me. But the others were simply exhausted.

We drove back silently. I let her head lay on my lap as I ran my hands through her hair.

30 minutes later, we arrived back at my place. Garcia and Reid soon left after, exhaustion present on their faces.

Morgan laid Cassidy on the couch in the living room, and pulled a blanket over her.

"I'm going home now." Morgan told me.

"You should; you look tired."

"I will, but call me if you need any help with Cassidy tomorrow."

"I won't hesitate."

"Goodnight Rossi." Morgan said.

"Goodnight Morgan." I told him.

I turned to my daughter as Morgan left. She looked plagued with pain. I sighed; it would have to wait for the morning.
