Brain Freeze

{Zerina POV}

My alarm clock woke me from a deep sleep, which didn't have any dreams, I don't have dreams, never had any before, don't have any now.

 Before I get into all the details I should say my name. my name is Zerina. I would say my last name but I don't know it. I've been an orphan for as long as I can remember. (which isn't that much.)

I sit up and swing my legs over the side of my bed. I brush my platinum blonde hair out of my eyes and stood.  I walked to the door as the same questions peppered my mind as they did every morning. 

Who am i? Why can't i remember anything from my past? Where is my family? 

I rubbed my temples and leaned on the door. I should meditate today. The cool water always helps me calm my senses. 

I hastily changed into a swim suit and exited through the back door into the snowy forest. the soft snow crunched under my boots, and even more snow rained down onto me. my breaths came out in small puffs.  i stopped at the half frozen pond. i removed my boots  and slid onto the ice.

i came to the hole in the center of the pond, where most people fish,i meditate. i sat down and put my legs into the chilled water.  i took a deep breath and plunged into the water.
