*A month time jump*

"All you did was fucking lie and you lied to my face. I'm not gonna keep going through that with you," I calmly say.
"I'm trying to make it up to you and you're not letting me," She whines.
"There's nothing to make up. I don't want you to. We don't need any repeats," I say.
"There won't be," She says while walking closer to me.
"Neither of us know that."
She looks at me and leans on the headboard, "Did we really get toxic?"
I look at her sideways, "You was acting like you were too busy for anything and every time I would try to talk to you, you would have a damn attitude."
She tries to say something, "In my defense-"
I cut her off and continue to list different things, "You kept telling me to not worry, but you wouldn't stop doing shit."
She nods, "That was a douche move."
I cross my arms, "You cheated on me for three months. You fucked your little trap buddy then came and got me pregnant."
We stare at each other and I shrug, "You don't see everything wrong with this?"
She sighs, "I do."
She adds, "I know all the right and wrong I did."
"I tried to find so many ways to fix how we were and you didn't take any consideration into that," I say.
"You didn't try to stop anything, like genuinely try," My fake smile.
"I had intention on it," She says.
"You didn't do shit, but make me feel like you didn't care or love me. Like I was aggravating you and you didn't need me," I say while slightly rolling my eyes.
"You wasn't here everyday to have all your kids ask where you were or when you were coming home."
She pouts at me, "It's not that I didn't want to spend time with you and the kids. I don't know why I was doing all that stuff."
"I'm sorry though, that I made it seem like I didn't care or I was aggravated with you or disrespected you."
"I'm sick of having problems with you, I still don't understand why I kept fucking up our marriage.I put all this before you and the kids. I wasn't being the person I could be and you didn't deserve any of that," She adds.
I nod and go to sit down since my feet were staring to hurt. She sits across from me and takes one of my hands.
"I should've showed you how much I cared," She says.
"You should've."

I stand behind the bar with Quincy, serving drinks. Choie and Ally sit on the stools while we're on our shift just to be here.
"You okay Mani? You look trapped in your mind," Choie says.
"Yeah, I was talking to Lauren earlier and I'm just thinking," I mumble.
"What happened?" Ally asks.
"Came back from an appointment and we just started talking our relationship and her tryna persuade me into not following the divorce."
"What happened to moving on?" Quincy quickly asks.
"Relax negro I ain't backtrack. I'm just tryna figure out how this co parenting thing is gonna work, especially with a baby coming," I shrug.
"Woah, woah, woah!" Choie yells.
"Uhhh?" Quincy asks while arching his brow at me.
"Baby baby?!" Ally asks.
I roll my eyes at their dramatics, "Yes I'm pregnant."
Choie says, "I see your dilemma, but we're here every little step."
Quincy nods and puts his hand on my shoulder, "More babies to spoil for me."
Ally joins in with her hand up, "And me!"
I laugh and shake my head, they're too much.
