My shower playlist starts and I hop in, setting my phone on the windowsill slightly above me. I squeeze the body wash onto the rag and lather my body in soap while bopping full throttle.

I hum along, gently rubbing the rag around my stomach. I can't wait for my lil Raelynn to be born. I'm tired of my stomach stretching and I'm eager to spoil her.

When the outro comes on, AKA the best part of the song, there was no choice but to stan.

The song switches to my queen Mariah and I do my little two step bop.

My phone rings, interrupting my sold out shower concert. I reach up and answer it, not surprised when Lauren's voice comes from the speaker.
"What you doing?" She asks.
I sing in a high register,"I'm in the shower!"
"Hurry up so I can see yooouu," She drags out.
I laugh, "You calling ain't gon make it no faster."
"Yeah, yeah. Get over here so I can see your pretty ass in person," She says.
I blush, "I'll be there soon Lauren."
"Okay baby. Ima hold you to that."
"See you soon."
When I finish up my shower, I put on deodorant and lather myself in vanilla scented lotion. I get dressed in a pair of grey sweats and a long sleeve white shirt. I put on white socks and adidas slides, followed by a bonnet over my hair.
I put on my coat since it was cold outside and grab my keys, wallet, and phone. I get in the car swiftly, with the way the wind was howling out this bitch. Tryna knock a bitch down. I pull out the driveway and make my way to Lauren's parents house.
When I get there I send her a text to open the door. I get out the car and by the time I'm up the stairs, she's standing in the doorway with a grin. I smile and throw my arms around her neck, she grabs onto my thighs as I jump up and wrap my legs around her waist. I kiss her as she pushes the door closed and begins walking to the room, still holding me.
I smile while kissing her face, "Hi baby."
She closes the room door and sits on the bed, laying back. She looks up at me, smiling and rubbing my sides underneath my coat. I take my coat and slides off, getting more comfortable. She slides up to the pillows and tugs on my hand for me to follow.
"I'm happy to see you," She says before kissing me.
I kiss her back, "Me too."
I lay my head in the crook of her neck with my arm around her torso and my leg between hers. Her arm goes around my shoulder while the other drapes over my side, rubbing my back as we watch the tv.
Of course reruns of Euphoria till the drought is over. The last episode still fucks me up, every episode for that matter. Right now we're watching episode 4 when Rue and Jules reunited at the carnival.

"The way I just know Jules gon be laid up with Anna in season 2," I say.

"A crime if I ever seen one," Lauren says while pretending to dab tears.
"Me cause you commit crimes every day..." I joke slowly.
She looks at me and tries to fight the little smile curling at the corners of her mouth.
"I'm joking," I laugh.
She playfully nudges me, "Don't get fucked up Hamilton."
"Hamilton?" I start to slide my wedding ring off and laugh when she quickly slides it back on.
"Aight, aight. Jokes over," She chuckles.
I grab her face and move her head side to side while making kissy faces. She kisses all around my face and holds me closer to her. Hehe.
The door to the room opens and the twins come running in at full speed.
"Mommy!"
Lauren's mom comes in after them shrugging, "I told them to knock."
I chuckle while holding onto Amaiyah's hand, "Hey Clara."
"Hey ma," Lauren says.
"Hey there, hey there!" She says in a peppy tone.
She gestures for the twins to follow her, "Come on it's nap time."
"I don't wanna nap," Eli whines.
"What'd y'all do?" I ask.
"We went to the YMCA," Clara answers.
"Baby you're tired. Go take a nap," I say to him.
"Fine," He huffs.
He walks out the room with them, or more so stomped out. I turn back to the tv and sigh.
"The way I want summer to come so I can have this baby and go to a carnival," I pout.
Lauren laughs and moves a little to kiss my forehead, caressing my cheek.
