Day.10

Jade's Pov

So far today has been normal or at least as normal as it could be. Thoughts of what happened the other day still plague my mind. It was awkward the day after im not sure if he knew I knew or not but he wouldn't look me in the eye. Things finally went back to normal the next day and we back to normal. Its not like its that big of deal he just kissed my forehead. Right so why am I making seem like its a big thing. Why do still feel his lips on my forehead and replay the moment in my head?

Suddenly a loud beep sounds throughout the whole house and Jeff rushes into the living room. What's going on? He turns on the TV and the static voice is back but its only 12pm. Something's wrong. "Jeff is everything ok? What's going on?" I ask feeling slightly panicked. When I don't get an answer I decide to just listen to the static. "Jeff EJ came back from his mission this morning and he's hurt he's on his way to your house so you should warn your human" the static speaks with urgency and I can sense its panic. Jeff sighs frustratedly "well find a way" the voice says replying whatever Jeff had said. Who's EJ? How did he get hurt? After that the TV goes blank and Jeff turns to my expecting gaze.

"So um my friend is gonna be here soon" he says and I nod but it looks like he has more to say. "He uh doesn't look like a normal person so please don't freak out when you see him". "I wasn't scared of you so I should be able to manage him" maybe im underestimating him. Even if I am I wouldn't say anything because I have feeling most of these guys are pretty self conscious  of their appearance around humans. I don't want to be the reason why they feel bad about about themself and if they are anything like Jeff then I should be good. "What's his name" I ask because im not suppose to know it yet. "EJ" ok that's sound pretty ok "What does it stand for" I ask guessing that he wasn't really named EJ. "Eyeless Jack" he says and just as I was about to ask more about him there's a knock at the door. "That must be him I'll get it" he walks overt the door and I hear a weak voice greet him.

"So im sure Slendy told you about Jade" Jeff says walking into the living room. The guy following him who I assume is EJ was wearing a black hoodie. His face was covered by blue mask with some strange black goop coming from were his eyes should be. From under his hood I can just barley make out brown hair. "Ah yeah he did tell me about the girl you've become obsessed with" he says walking towards the couch that's when I notice his limp. "Hey im not obsessed you know why I like her" Jeff becomes suddenly defensive and it makes me smile. "That's right I do" he says and then turns towards me. "I don't think I've introduced myself im EJ" he says leaning over to shake hands. I grab his without second thought and shake it before introducing myself. "Im Jade but I guess you already knew that"he smirks at me in a challenging way. "For someone who is a normal human you don't seem at all fazed by my apearace are you not scared" I smirk back at him. "Trust me I've had this conversation with Jeff already you don't scare me and I won't be scared of you until you give me a reason" he looks shocked at my response and turns to Jeff. "I like her she's not scared to speak her mind" Jeff nods before looking at me with a meaningful expression "she never was" what's that supposed to mean.

"So now back to the reason your here Slender Man says your hurt what happened" he says looking away from me. "Oh yeah well Slender Sent me out to find out Zalgo- wait is it ok she hears this" he pauses and waits until Jeff nods "she's not gonna say anything" he looks at me and I nod agreeing. "Ok well he sent me out find out what Zalgo was planning cause he's been quiet for to long but the thing is he wasnt there" his voice is somber and I could feel the tension in the air. "Then who did you get hurt" that's what I was wondering but I guess Jeff was thinking the same thing. "Well I decided to look around and see if I could find anything but of course he decides to teleport back and finds me in his office and one thing led to anthor and I think I broke my leg" he says it so casually that I start to wonder how often this happens. "Ok but did you find anything" Jeff asks ignoring the part about his leg being broken. This definitely happens a lot. "Nope it was perstine or at least spelled to not show me anything" he sound irritated at the fact that he couldn't find anything.

Suddenly the TV turns on by its self and the static shows. 'Do you really think its safe to talk about this infront of the human' I swear that voice doesn't even know me and it thinks it has the right to judge me. 'I don't care if she doesn't know understand she could repeat it to someone who does' why is he so uptight all the time. 'I don't like her because as don't her because as I've said many times she's a danger' he's so annoying. "Whatever" Jeff mumbles under his breath before looking towards EJ. "Back to what you were saying, what do you mean it could be spelled" he continues. "Well it was to perstine for our favorite dark lord" he says with a sigh. "It had to of been spelled" this is all so strange but I mean they aren't necessarily normal people.

They continue talking but I kind of tune them out, it's nothing of importance to me. Instead I watch the wall like its the best thing on earth. The wall itself is pretty cool its painted black but there are many different types of knifes hanging from it. All of the knifes are clean and sharp they shimmer in the little light coming from the window. I guess I should be scared because my kidnapper has a very large knife collection but then again I should've been scared awhile ago. "Hey Jeff, I like your knives and all but why do you have so many" I ask without really thinking about it. "What knives" EJ asks and I look at him like he's crazy and points towards wall "are you blind there's like thirty of them hanging on the wall" I say in disbelief. Jeff looks at me in shock and then turns towards EJ "tell me do you see the knives" he asks with urgency that I don't understand. "What's the big deal they're just knives" I ask.

"Your not supposed to be able to see those". What have I done?
