"This is her school Macha," Arjun pointed at a huge white building. "Oh My God! Didn't she get any other school," Surya tried to hide his face. "Didn't you get any other girl?" Arjun smirked. "No matter how many times you say it, nothing's going to change my mind da," Surya was firm. "Then come let's go," Arjun walked towards the school. "Hey wait Macha," Surya pulled him back, "Appa (Dad) is a director of this school. The security guard knows me very well. If he sees me, he'll surely tell Appa." "Hmm...is it so?" Arjun was thinking, "Okay, then we'll go to the back and jump over the wall." Both of them with great difficulty climbed the wall and jumped over it.

"Surya, what are you doing here?" somebody spoke and Surya turned slowly to see who it was. He was a bit relieved to see his brother-in-law (sister's husband). "Why are you here?" he asked again. "What if I ask you the same question?" Surya asked confidently. "This school is having farewell party for the senior students in two months. Appa told me to meet the principal regarding it. Now you answer me why are you two here and why did you sneak in like thieves?" the brother-in-law asked. "No Maama, I was just...." Surya couldn't find any excuses. "Came to meet a girl?" Maama asked. Surya quickly shook his head, while Arjun was nodding. Surya frowned at Arjun and Maama felt something was fishy.

"I'm in love with a girl studying here," Surya confessed looking at the ground. "Who is she? Which class?" Maama asked. "Her name is Priya," Surya took out his phone to show a picture of her, "I couldn't find anything else about her." "How did you get this photo then?" Maama asked. "Ask that from me," Arjun pretended to cry, "Yesterday the whole night he didn't let us to sleep. He went through every Priya's profile on facebook. By the time we found her, I would have died."

"I can see your dedication da," Maama smiled, "It can be love at first sight, but you should know what kind of a person she is before you seriously commit into it." Surya nodded understanding what Maama was trying to say. "I'll inquire about this girl and we'll talk today freely in the evening," Maama suggested. Surya nodded in agreement. "So what are you waiting for, y'all can leave," Maama asked. "No Maama, I had to leave all my work and come this far. Can I just see her once," Surya scratched his head. "Yeah sure," Maama smiled sarcastically, "Appa will come in a while, you can see him as well." "Appa?" Surya shivered and quickly climbed back on the wall to leave and Arjun followed him. Maama smiled to himself.

It was evening and Surya was eagerly waiting for Maama to come home. He quickly ran downstairs, when he heard the sound of the sound of the car's horn. Surya's sister came near the door, "Why have you come early today?" She questioned her husband. "No dear..." before he could answer, Surya pulled him by his hand and led him upstairs asking, "What made you come so late?" Surya sat opposite Maama and asked, "So?" "Yeah I inquired," Maama spoke in a disappointed tone, "She's not a good girl da. She has a lot of bad records." "What do you mean by bad records?" Surya wasn't convinced. "From grades to discipline, she's zero in everything. She won't suit our family," Maama replied looking at Surya right in the eye.

Surya immediately got up and walked towards the window, "She seemed to be a nice person," without realizing he started to tear. "Hey! Hey!" Maama walked towards him, "I was kidding da. Priya is one of the best students in school. Let it be grades or discipline, she's always at her best," Maama saw Surya's smile creeping back and he continued, "From whomever I inquired, they loved her character. She volunteers a lot and is a very helpful girl. I was sure that she's the right girl for you. But..." "But what?" Surya asked anxiously. "She's an orphan. Her parents had died when she was eight and then she was brought up by her grandparents. They also died a few years back. Her relative's sold her grandparents' house. From then on she's living in flats and hostels. She had managed all her expenses, like education and rent, with the wealth left for her by her parents and grandparents," Maama finished.

"I love her even more after you told me the darker side of her life," Surya said smiling. "Look here. Let's be optimistic. You don't need to convince anyone as her family. Just convince her and I'll convince Appa," Maama winked. Surya gave a tight hug to Maama and asked, "I don't know how to start off with this. Can you tell me a way to make her fall in love with me?" Maama broke the hug and replied shaking his head, "If I had known that, I would have found a better girl than your Akka." Surya laughed and Maama left the room wishing him all the very best.
