You Can't Catch Me (Diabolik Lovers)

Chapter 1

Pixis had visited again in the week but had  been gone for a couple days at this point, and some vampires were actually wondering where the little cat went off too.
"Oi, why must we stay with the Sakamakis for so long?" The tall vampire, Yuma, asked his eldest brother. He was beginning to be bothered by the harsh stares from the blonde, Shu.
"Just another week is what Karlheinz said." Ruki responded, turning the page of his book. The silence after his words were definitely just more boring to the other vampire.
Yuma opened his mouth the speak before Azusa entered the large room they sat in, a slight smile on his face. "Why are you so happy, Azusa?" The idol vampire, Kou, giggled.
"Kanato .. hurt me ... when I asked." Yuma slightly raised an eyebrow, but shrugged. "He really just did what you asked?" He asked, bored enough to be curious.
"I had .. to touch .. Teddy first." He said slowly, before taking a seat near the others. There was a silence before Kou pointed at the window. "Gwah! A neko!" He exclaimed, watching as the small cat stared into the window at them, flicking his tail behind him.
"Isn't that the one kid?" Yuma asked, eyeing the animal. Kou ignored the question and opened the window, letting the cat fall in the room, hitting the ground as a boy.
"Oof!" Pixis rubbed his butt from the landing then quickly shot up. "I'm not a kid, remember?" He immediately said, shooting a glare at Yuma.
Pixis then looked at the silent vampire in the corner. He made his way over to Ruki and peered over his shoulder at the book he was reading.
"What are you guys' names anyway?" Pixis asked, leaning over the side of Ruki's chair. Ruki looked momentarily from his book to the eyes of the curious neko. He wanted to snap at the stranger, but he sighed and looked back at his book.
"I'm Ruki, the one who let you in is Kou. He's Yuma." He pointed at the couch that the tall impure vampire rested on. "And then there's Azusa."
"Hello..." Azusa said quietly. Pixis looked at him then made his way over. The gray head looked over Azusa's scarred arms.
"What are all these?" He impolitely asked, picking up the others arm and studying the scars that littered it.
"Do you .. like them?" Azusa asked, a slight smile on his face. "If you like them, then sure!" Pixis gave a toothy grin.
"How ill-mannered." Pixis' head shot up at the voice, seeing the butler vampire from the other day, standing at the door.
"Ne, you're mr. Butler, right?" Pixis stood up and waved at him.
"You do realize you can't just enter other people's homes whenever you like? I would assume you knew this at the age of 17." Reiji scoffed before telling the Mukami brothers their rooms were prepared.
Reiji left them and started walking away, only to be followed by Pixis. "You know, I enter other people's houses all the time. It's like ... my job!" Pixis exclaimed, following behind the other.
"Well then don't you have somewhere to be? I will lead you to the door."
"That's nice of you but... I'd rather not." Pixis said, stopping and scratching at his ear nervously. "See, it's supposed to be real cold tonight and I have no where to go."
"Why don't you go to your—" Reiji stopped talking, remembering what the younger boy had said about his parents the days before. "Where do you normally go?"
"Well I normally stay at a hotel but I'm getting low on money.." He lied, giving his best upset face. Reiji looked at Pixis, seeing that his face wasn't exactly matching his lie, but he sighed regardless; feeling he should be kind for once.
Though he thought the neko could be lying, he saw how beaten up the others clothes were. He could use new clothes and a proper meal and bath.
"I suppose you could stay a couple nights, till it's warmer. Follow me." Pixis smiled wide and happily followed Reiji once more.
"Thanks Mr. Butler—" "Reiji Sakamaki. I'm not a butler."
Pixis just giggled, deciding on his own he would continue to call Reiji what he wanted.
