We got back to the auditorium and were given a 30 minute break. Archie and me just stuffed our faces with chocolate bars we got from the treasure chest. "Look at your face oh my god, there are chocolate streaks everywhere." I spoke with my mouth full. "That's so unlady like of you, EJ." He made a face at me and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Why a beautiful girl like you never experienced a love story before?" he asked as he broke off the next chocolate bar in his mouth.
"No guy actually said I was beautiful before. Well except my dad."
Ring!!! "Dear UniStellar students, we will now continue the orientation with a school tour." A teacher announced.
After the tour was over, I just couldn't help but ask Archie, "Would you be my friend?"
"EJ, did you really have to ask that?"
"It's a no?"
"Dumb girl, if I said no I would've missed out on a lot of things. Would you be my friend too?"
I nodded. And so here was my first friend in a new life. Although he had secrets, I didn't mind at least for now.
