"Did Ean ask you out?"
"No. Not yet." Gilly replied with droopy eyes.
"Give it a few days. I know he'll ask you." I gave her an encouraging fist of triumph.
"Ya." Gilly smiled.
I was wondering maybe the thing with Robin and Connor was just a lucky coincidence.
"Now, what is our cute little EJ thinking about?" Archie suddenly popped out of nowhere.
"Archie, where are Georgie and Reef? They were supposed to keep you on a leash."
"Oh, come on EJ don't be like that. Tell Archie all your problems and I'll shoot them with my bow and arrow."
"Nothing of your concern."
"Maybe guessing on another future couple might cheer you up?"
"No!" I yelled at Archie
I pushed pass everyone in the hallway. I shouldn't have yelled at Archie just because I felt bad.
Oof... I looked up, "Reef!"
"Slow down, bullet train. You still have 10 minutes to get to class."
"Sorry, I just."
"You must be calm like the ocean. Breathe in. Breathe out. Everything will be better with a clearer mind and heart." Reef placed his two hands on his heart.
Breathe in, breathe out. "Thank you Reef. Oh, and do you have World History class later?"
"Yeah, why? Got an assignment you didn't pass up? Pass it to me. I'll help you."
"Could you help me apologize to Archie. I yelled at him just now. I shouldn't have."
"No problem EJ."
I kept replaying in my mind on how I was going to apologize properly to Archie later.
I caught up with Archie in the hallway.
"Sorry, Arch. I shouldn't have yelled at you. I'm a complete dumb nut. Please forgive me."
"EJ, I forgive you." Archie hugged me and my heart wavered.
