After a decent length of a walk, Day found himself standing at the entrance of a massive building. The building was built from some form of white colored stone. It had to large doors, that were currently open, these doors were followed up by a fairly long set of stairs. The staircase was made of the same white stone and had three points where it flattened out to make a flat transition between flights of stairs. Day, of course, chose to ignore the stairs and spread his wings once more to lift himself to the top of them.

Once inside, Day was greeted by the creek of old wooden floors beneath a red carpet of sorts with the crest of the four Great Beings in the center of this large cloth that stretched over the great spand of wooden floor. There was, as expected a consultant desk where you would normally find the librarian however the librarian was not at their post. The Desk was made of the said rustic looking wood planks and featured a stone top. Between Day and the desk was a large table stretching out far enough to accommodate a good number of readers. To the left and right of the table were bookshelves that stretched up so high it seemed as if they were the supporting structures for the second floor, which could be seen from the first floor, as its center was left empty and balconies formed the edges of the floor. In fact, as Day looked up he saw not one, but two sets of balconies meaning there were three floors to this massive library. The ceiling of the building once again dawned the crest of the four Great ones. The Crest was a large shield shape. With a cross that split the face of the shield into four areas. In the top right plane, a Rose that represented beauty, and light was designed. Next to it in the top left, was an hourglass that clearly stood for time, below the rose in the bottom right was set of scales representing twilight, and its maintenance of the balance of light and shadow, Lastly in the bottom left, a sword, and a scroll was overlaid upon another forming an X formation. This formation represented justice, and punishment, the judge of the dead, darkness.

Day would cuff his hands around his mouth before yelling out "Master Fate!"

Soon the old man began to hover downward as he softly scaled over the baloney of the third floor "Have you forgotten this is a library, Day?" The old man said as he came to rest on solid ground, before his son.

"Yeah well, if you would just stay at your desk, I wouldn't have to call for you." Day replied smugly.

"Yes, well I may be old, but I refuse to be confined to such a small place as a desk when an ocean of knowledge surrounds me." Fate answered, "It is like a captured fish flopping around in the floor of a rowboat as it floats upon the ocean surface. But enough of that, why have you come here?"

Day sighed "I need answers." he said with a very...unhappy look on his face.

Fate's eyes met his son's eyes The two pairs of identical orbs confirmed the relation between the two. Fate placed a hand on his son's shoulder in comfort "Walk with me, and speak."

Day began to follow his father as they made their way to the third floor. As they walked, Day told his father everything that had happened with not only Night, but with Trya, and Zero as well. Once he finished, they came upon a very out of place door. It did not fit the style of the rest of the building, in fact, it looked more like the front door of a home. Once the two stepped through they were greeted your standard home interior...well almost standard. It had a couch, coffee table, a bookshelf, which was honestly redundant given what this home was built inside of, but no television. There was no wall to separate the kitchen from the living room or dining room for that matter.

Fate sat down on his couch with a satisfied sigh before looking at his son "So, I'm assuming you came here hoping to find a way to free Night from all this?"

Day gave a discouraged nod "You're...uh...you're saying that as if there isn't a way.."

Fate's head sunk ever so slightly. "Well, that is the bad news of this two-part explanation."

"Two parts, implying there is good news right?" Day asked anxiously.

"Well, this is Night we are talking about. Knowing my son, deep within his own mind there is most likely some of him still left that is putting up quite the struggle. If you continue to attempt breaking through you, you might succeed." Fate said before sighing "However. As a guardian, you must put your job, and your realm ahead of your personal wishes. If Night cannot be reached, he must be destroyed. Do you understand?"

Day's heart only grew even heavier a deep sigh further expressed his ever-lowering morale. "I understand.."

"I'm sorry Day, but don't think you and Miss Vantos are alone. I do not want to bury my son...a second time. So I highly recommend, that you fight. Fight not only with blade, but with spirit and resolve. You are my son, so I would imagine you have a boon of both. Lastly, just because the storm of combat rages to the fullest of its furiosity this doesn't mean it has to end in bloodshed. You will find that gentlest whisper of love can put to rest even the strongest of storms."

Day would nod before turning to the door to leave "Thanks, dad." he said before placing his hand on the doorknob.

"Day." Fate said.

Day turned to face his father once more "Yeah?"

Fate looked at him with flame of confidence in his eyes "Bring your brother home."

Day gave a nod as his morale was lifted ever so slightly "Will do."
