Simple method for outlining
Word document start typing out the major plot points I have already thought of in chronological order.
Basic plot points usually go back and fill in the smaller plot points Once the ideas are down on paper it is easier to see what makes sense, what doesn't what needs more explaining, and how to connect everything. This method allows you to go back whenever you want and add in new ideas to the stories.
