Aomine x Momoi

---

Aomine never thought of it this way. He just woke up one day feeling the need to see that certain pink-haired girl who was also his childhood friend.

She was just another nuisance to him so he never thought that he'll get to feel this way.

He cared for her, yes. But he never thought he loved her. Or maybe he was only denying his feelings for her.

It was confusing. The feeling was more difficult to understand than trying to understand what's going on Tetsu's mind.

It was complicated also. Aomine knew how Momoi liked his former partner so much. It was to the point of obsessing and it was annoying.

He already knew he doesn't have a chance against Kuroko. Thankfully, Kuroko never acknowledged Momoi's feelings.

Aomine was a man of pride. He couldn't just let Momoi slip away without him even trying.

Kuroko once said that he wasn't interested in love so that made Aomine sigh in relief.

"Aomine-kun..."

Aomine jumped up in surprised when he saw the person he was thinking earlier.

"Tetsu!" Aomine acknowledge his small presence and turned to him.

"Hello." He says with a flat voice matched with his ever so passive look.

Aomine grimaced. Talk about speaking of the devil. "How long were you there?"

"I came here first." He answers.

Surprised, Aomine realized that even though Kuroko is his best friend, he will not get used to his presence. He was like a mushroom.

"You're thinking of Momoi-san, aren't you?"

Aomine waved his hand in disapproval. "No! Why would I think of her?" He yelled defensively.

"No need to be defensive, Aomine-kun." He states, looking at him with those cute, round eyes, according to Midorima.

Sighing, Aomine scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "Is it that obvious?" He mumbles bashfully.

"No, you're just simple." Kuroko bluntly stated which irritated Aomine. "Like Kagami-kun."

"Huh?!" Aomine glared and frowned at the frail phantom sixth man. "What the hell? Don't call me simple!" He yells in disapproval.

Kuroko shrugged him off and took the ball near Aomine. "Why won't you confess then?"

"Confess? That's too gay!" Aomine argued.

Kuroko gave him a small smile. "Momoi-san is attractive. If you don't act now, you'll lose in the end, Aomine-kun." He mutters, handing the ball to Aomine.

"You should confess soon before it's too late." Kuroko finished, about to leave.

Aomine held his shoulder to stop him. "Are... Didn't you ever liked Satsuki?"

Kuroko smiled at him assuringly. "No, I'm loyal to my sport." He explains thoroughly. "Besides, I've noticed that you actually like Momoi-san before. You were just too naïve to even notice."

Aomine glared at him again. "Oi, Tetsu! Stop calling me naïve and simple!" He bellows angrily.

"Simpleton, then?"

"Teme."

Kuroko shrugged his anger off and bowed. "I will take my leave now. I hope Momoi-san accepts your bottled feelings."
