Their Life Before

A peek inside Aria and Dani's world before they entered KuroBasu's world.

"I can't do it anymore!" One guy complains, collapsing on the ground, gasping for air.

Aria who was busy jolting down notes on the training menu looks up and glares at the guy. "Don't give me that shit, Harvey! Run ten laps outside!" Her voice echoed throughout the whole gym which made the guy flinch and scramble out of the gym immediately.

"Scary, as always, Torres." Someone taunted behind Aria.

"Who told you that I'm here, Allen?" Aria asks indifferently, not sparing the poor guy a single glance.

Allen chuckled, amused. "You don't need to act all cold. It's just me, Aria." The brunette didn't answer. Instead, she glaredat the guy and rolled her eyes. "Anyways, I saw four-eyes getting bullied again."

She turned to his direction and threw a ball at his face angrily. "I told you not to call her four-eyes! She has a name!" She spats disdainfully.

"What?" Allen asks, feigning innocence. "It's true! She has four-eyes! I don't even get why you keep hanging out with her." He nonchalantly reasoned out.

That caused Aria to be more infuriated. She kicked his shin. "She's my best friend and I don't allow anyone to badmouth her." She finishes and marched out of the gym to search for her best friend.

She walked around even if her senses in knowing directions are quite low.

After asking a few people where to find her best friend, she finally saw her inside a circle of people crowded around her while two girls were picking on her.

She pushed the people inside and approached the two girls. Then, she made them face her by pulling their shoulders harshly. "What do you think you're doing?" She spats.

The one with black hair and too many piercings in her ear to count smirked at her and rose a brow. "What does it look like I'm doing?" She asks back.

"Stop it." Aria ordered which made he two girls chuckle humorlessly.

"And if we don't?" The other one who was blonde with too many make up on her face that can pass off as a clown challenged.

"Tch, I'm not good at threatening so why bother. I'll just show it you." Aria says arrogantly while taking the blazer of her uniform off. She then unbuttoned her sleeves and pulled it up to her elbow.

The two glared at her angrily, feeling that Aria was under-estimating them, as the crowd kept chanting the word 'fight' repeatedly.

"Aria, don't!" The bullied raven squeaks from behind the two girls.

Aria's gaze softens at her voice but returns back to a cold one when she sees the state her best friend was in. Her uniform was tattered and there was a mark of a hand on her cheeks. Her hair was also disheveled.

Her sight went bloody red as she turns to the two.

Being thought by her brother about fighting, Aria quickly dashes to Danielle, her best friend, and pushes her aside.

The two girls quickly took the opportunity to corner Aria but Aria approaches the clown with a punch and dodges the other one who was about to pull her hair.

Aria jumped up and gave the one who was about to pull her hair a high kick causing her to stumble and fall into the ground.

The clown slowly stood up, wiping the blood coming out from her nose, before she ran to attack Aria but Aria was fast enough to do a side-step and elbow her side furiously.
