Chriz' P.O.V

       Days passed. Its Monday once again, another challenge is set for us. I'm really scared of what's our challenge and who's going home. I read all my cookbooks. Its 12pm so I better make some lunch. I made some sushi. I ate then I cleaned up. I went to Dara's room to study more. After that, I went back into my room. I watched a movie to let time pass and get all my nervousness and stressfulness out. This movie is 2 hours long. After watching, I heard a knock on my door. "Hello?" I hear familiar voices say. I opened the door. Its Jack, Sarah, Gavin and Kaylen. "Hey guys what ya'll doing here?" I asked them. "Well you're one of our toughest competitors and we wanted to learn more from you" Sarah said. "Haha I'm quite flattered. Lets sit on the couch" I said as I got all my cook books. We talked and discussed about cooking then we read cookbooks together. "So that's all!" I said. "Thanks for teaching us, Chriz" Kaylen said. "You're like our big sis" Jack said. "Haha your welcome. Want some snacks?" I said while handing them plates of ice cream cakes. "Wow thanks!" Gavin said. "When did you make this?" Jack asked. "A while ago. I got so bored." I said. We all ate. "Thanks for the snack and for teaching us!" Sarah said as they left. I felt great because they see me as a tough competitor and they treat me like a big sister. I love them so much. Its 4:30 already. I took a shower, read a cookbook, got dressed then went to the MCJ kitchen along with the others. Gordon says what he says then "Remind me who are the top three yesterday?" Gordon asked. Al, Kaylen and Gavin raised their hands. They're gonna have a challenge. The best is gonna get a huge advantage. We all went to the side. I stood between Troy and Roen. "Where have you been all day?" I asked Troy. "Roen and I were hanging out" he said while smiling at me and Roen. "Ready, set, whip!" Graham said. Sarah is shouting like crazy. Gosh. They got so messy. They have cream all over themselves. Then Al raised his whip then yelled "Whipped!". Then Gordon said the real test is to put it upside down. Gordon got ladders then said "Pour it on our heads" Gordon said. Al went first. He held it upside down on Grahams head. It didn't fall! Next is Gavin. He poured the cream all over Joe! Hahah! We all laughed. Next is Kaylen. She poured the cream aswell. Gordon cussed. Haha! "I guess the winner is Alexander" Gordon said. "I knew you'd come through for me Big Al." Graham said. Then Al put the bowl on Graham's head! HAHAHHAHA! "What did I ever do to you?" Graham said as he took the bowl off. They had a short cream fight then they went to the bathroom to clean up. "They are so messy" Roen said while laughing. "Yeah haha!" Troy said. We talked more then they finally came out. "Ok so for the next challenge, you are gonna have your first team challenge!" Gordon said. We all cheered. "You will be split into five groups of 2." Gordon said.  "Alexander, choose your partner" Gordon said. "This person is feared in this competition so I'm gonna pick Troy" he said. Troy went next to Al. Of course they're buddies. "Roen." Al said. "Who do you want to be paired up with?" Al asked. "I want to be paired with Chriz because she has good plating" Roen said. I smiled at him. "Well you're not getting her" Al and Troy both said. "Oh why Troy, jealous?" Gordon teased. We laughed. "Roen, I'll pair you up with Jewels" Al said. "Jack, you'll be paired with... Chriz" he said. I'm glad that I'm paired up with him cuz he's really good. "Hey!" I said with a smile while going next to him. "Dara and Sarah." Al said. "Gavin and Kaylen". "Alright. This challenge will be a tag team challenge. for this challenge, you'll be making my signature dish, beef wellington." Gordon said. Great. I made this before. We all tasted it. Then we went to our stations. "Go!" Graham said. "Chriz, you go first" Jack said. "Sure" I said. "First, season the beef with salt and pepper, but not too much" Jack said. I put salt and pepper. Then I put it in the oven. "Do the broccolini next" Jack said. I made it. "Do the mash potatoes" Jack said. "How many potatoes?" I asked. "2." I peeled the potatoes, chopped them. I put the potatoes on the chopping board. "Switch in 5...4...3..2...1 switch!" Gordon said. "Good job" Jack said as went to the oven. "Get the meat out then brush it while its still hot." I said. "Sure" he said as he did what I told him. "Now wrap it. don't forget the duxell." I said. He did it, layer by layer. "Next make sure the broccolis aren't too marinated or else it'll be soggy" I said. After he wrapped it, he put it in the oven. "Now make the mashed potatoes. Add a little salt and pepper" I said. "Yeah" he said. "Switch!" Gordon said. "Now Chriz, take the beef out and check the temperature." he said. I did what he sayed. "The temperature is perfect" I said. "Mix the mashed potatoes and taste it if it needs more salt or more mashing." he said. The potatoes tasted a bit plain so I added more salt. After the mashed potatoes cooked, I was about to put it on the plate then Gordon yelled "Last switch!". We switched. "Jack, do the plating. Spread mashed potatoes then add the broccolini and then the beef." I said. We're doing so well. I assure you that we aren't going home. "The plating looks nice" Jack said as he wiped the extra sauce off the plate. "3..2..1 hands up!" Gordon said. "We did great Jack!" I said. Troy and Al got called first. I whispered "Good luck" to them. They got great reviews and their dish is outstandingly beautiful. We were called next. We brought our dish to the little table. "Wow. Visually, this looks beautiful" Gordon said. "Thank you Chef" we said. He took a bite. "This is amazing. Wow. Mind blowing" he said as he wiped his mouth. Joe tasted it next. "You both work great. The both of you worked like brother and sister" Joe said. "Haha thanks Chef" I said. After getting judged, we went next to Troy and Al. "Great job guys" Troy said with a smile. "We did amazing. We aren't going home, Jack." I said while high fiving Jack. Dara and Sarah got called next. The judges loved it. Kaylen and Gavin were next. "The layering is too thick and its too peppery" Gordon said. "What a shame" Gordon said. I don't want anyone to go home tonight. I'll miss all of them. Roen and Jewels are next. Gosh I hope they did great. Its too salty. "Its like eating a spoonful of salt. Who seasoned this?" Gordon asked. "Me." Jewels said. "You should not have been too heavy handed. What a shame." Gordon said. "Sorry" I hear Jewels whisper to Roen. They went next to us. "Please wait for a moment." Joe said as they went in the pantry to discuss. We comforted Roen. He's starting to cry. "I'm really sorry Roen" Jewels said as she hugged him. "Alright. There are three outstanding dishes and those dishes are made by Troy, Al, Chriz, Jack, Dara and Sarah." Gordon said. We went up. I felt glad that we went through. I don't want Roen to go home so early. "The four of you should be proud of yourselves for making it into the top 10. Sadly, we must send two of you home. The team who will be safe is...." Gordon said. We are all in suspense. "Roen and Jewels. Congratulations" Gordon said. Roen and Jewels hugged Kaylen and Gavin. They were crying and hugging. "Kaylen, who do you think will win MCJ?" Gordon asked. "I think Chriz will win. She has a pure heart and she cooks dishes heavenly" she said as she smiled at me. I smiled back. "Gavin, who's gonna win?". "I think Big Al will because he thinks and talks like a chef" he said. They all went home. Ugh. We all went downstairs because Gordon asked us to finish our dishes. I took Jack and I's beef wellington then sat at the table. "We did great" Jack said as he ate. "Yeah. I'm really sad that Kaylen and Gavin had to go home. I'm gonna miss them" I said. After we finished eating, Gordon asked us to go back to our rooms with your buddy because tonight, we're gonna have a sleep over. I was gonna take Troy and Troy is already running towards me but Al took him. I took Dara with me. We all went to the hotel. I'll be staying at Dara's room. I got my stuff then went to her place. "Hey! We did great!" Dara said. "Yeah! I'm proud of ourselves for making it into the top 8. You know what? this is like the Hunger Games" I said. "Haha yeah!" Dara said. We made popcorn then we watched the Hunger Games then we'll watch Catching Fire. "Keeta!" We said as Katniss and Peeta held hands. "You know what? My friend ships Katniss and Peeta too but she calls them Pee-niss" I said with a laugh. "Hahaha!" we laughed. We watched movies then we fell asleep.
