Its morning. Finally. And today's Jewels' 13th birthday. And she told me its formal and you have to bring a date. I called Troy. he picked up.

"Hey Troy. Can we go to the mall later? I gotta buy a dress and a gift for Jewels' bithday."

"Oh hey. Sure. I wanna buy a tie that's the same color of your dress"

"Oh haha! Alright. Pick me up at 10"

"Alright. See you soon! bye"

I ended the call. I washed up then I told mom and dad I'll be going to the mall. "Sure dear. Alright honey, I'm off to work. I'll be home at 8." dad said as he kissed my forehead. I ate breakfast then I went upstairs. I took a bath. I wore a galaxy top, denim shorts and black Vans. I feel great. I'm so excited for later. I heard my phone ring.

"hello?"

"Hey Chriz. I'm outside your apartment. And Emily came with me to help pick your dress"

"Alright! I'll be down in just a sec"

I went downstairs.

"Mom! I gotta go. love you!" I said while grabbing my purse.

"Bye dear. stay safe!" she said.

I went down. I went in the elevator and I saw Penelope. She's my apartment neighbor and she gives out cookies sometimes.

"Hey Penelope! Ground floor please"

"hello Chriz! Sure"

I ran as fast as I could to Troy. "Whew I got tired" I said. "Haha lets go" Emily said. The mall isn't far from here. We went in the mall. I went to a dress shop. "Ooohh Chriz! I bet this'll look great on you!" Emily said as she handed me a sequined, coral, strapless knee length dress. "Oh sure." I went to the fitting room. Wow this does look great. I went out then I modeled for them. "You look hot" Troy said while clapping. "Yeah Chriz. You're on fire" Emily said. I took the dress off then I paid. "Alright. Emily, Chriz, I'll just buy a coral tie. Meet up at Starbucks" Troy said as he ran off.

"So Chriz, whatcha think if you'd become my sister in law?"

"Haha that'll be wonderful. Troy seems like the kind of guy that'll never leave you" I said while fiddling a piece of hair.

"True. If I weren't his sister, I'd marry him" Emily said.

"Haha. Um Emily, can you go and order your drink? I don't feel like I want a frapp right now" I said.

"Alright" she replied

I got a table for us. We waited for Troy. He finally came after 10billion years. "Whew. I finally came back" he said. "What took you so long?" Emily asked. "The elevator stopped working. I'm glad I'm still alive" he said. "Oh. great. shall we go home?" Emily asked. We all went home. Time flew. Its 4. I took a nice warm bath. I dryed my hair then I put on my dress. I let mom do my hair. "Dear, don't grow up too fast" mom said. "I wont." I said. She put my hair in a french cornet. She did a shimmering make up on my face. I put on the locket then I asked mom to wrap the gift. Its a pastel pink gown by the way. "Mom, Troy's here. I gotta go. Love you!" I said as I ran downstairs. Oh! I fell. Ugh I hate highheels. Oh well there comes a bruise. I went to Troy. "Hey Chriz. you look beautiful" he said. "You look stunning yourself." I said. we went to Jewels' house. "Happy Birthday Jewels!" I said as I hugged her then handed her the gift.

"Thank you Chriz! Go on the dance floor. We're about to start dancing!" Jewels said.

I pulled Troy to the dancefloor. Then the music played. Its "Look After You" by The Fray. I looked into Troy's ocean eyes. "Well, lets start dancing" I said. "I-I'm a bit nervous. We haven't danced together for a long time. I'm sorry" he said sheepishly. "Oh you. Its like this. Follow my lead" I said as I put his hands on my waist then I put my arms around his neck.

"See. Its easy." I said while swaying to the music.

"Yeah it is" he said while staring into my blue/gray eyes.

"You look wonderful" Troy said.

"Thanks" I replied while blushing.

"You know what? I love you so much. You're beautiful. You mostly don't notice that but you are. I jist want to say that you make my life complete. You make my days better. You are special. And I love you for that" Troy said while smiling at me.

I started tearing up. "I love you too Troy. But there's something you should know..." I said.

"What?" he asked.

I said nothing then I ran as fast as I could to the yard. He followed me.

"Why are you crying?" he asked.

"Its nothing. I love you too Troy. Don't leave me" I cried as I hugged him. We partied more but then I went home shortly after that. Ugh. I don't have the strength to tell him.....
