Chriz' P.O.V

       Days passed. Its the second week of MCJ. Its Monday already which means there's a competition today. I reread all my cookbooks. I called my mom to tell her to deliver here her other cookbooks. I made fillet mignon for breakfast. I am so psyced for later. I washed up then I sat on my bed. I heard a knock on my door. I opened it. Its Troy. "Hey! wanna read cookbooks with me?" he asked. "Sure" I said. We sat on the couch. "I'm nervous for later! I don't wanna get eliminated yet." I said. "Don't worry. You wont. Just trust yourself and you'll do great." he said. We read the cookbooks. "Its lunch time. I gotta go. Bye!" Troy said. Mom's cookbooks came. I read them all. Time passed. Its 5 already. I reread a cookbook then I took a shower, wore shorts and a top. I wore my apron. "Little Chefs! Come down to the MCJ kitchen!" I hear Graham yell. We all went outside. We went inside the kitchen. Woah when I saw the boxes I thought to myself "Daanggg its a dang mystery box challenge!". We went to our stations. My station is beside Sarah's and behind Troy's. "On the count of three lift your boxes. 1..2..3!" We lifted the box. I saw many ingredients. "Have you found the new ingredient?" Gordon asked. I dug through. I saw a tablet. "Yes you are all gonna Skype call a relative or a friend to help make your dish!" I called my mom. "Hello dear!" she said. "Hello umm help me with this please?" I said as I showed her the ingredients. "Uh you should make your special fillet mignon with an artichoke salad." she said. "Ok mom! byee!" I said. "Done with Skpye calls? Get your ingredients now!" Graham said. I got all the ingredients I ran as fast as I could. I fryed the mignon. I made the salad and I made a dressing. I added some other stuff too. We all made great meals. " 5...4...3...2...1! hands up!" Gordon said. I'm proud of how my dish came out. "We want to take a second look at... Troy's dish." Gordon said. Troy is in the top 3. He made something with fillet mignon too. He got great reviews. "Next, this dish is like a food pyramid..... Chriz, please bring your dish up here." Joe said. I'm so happy. "This dish is so complex. It looks beautiful visually." Gordon said as he took a bite. "The flavor bursts into your mouth like what Troy did with his." Gordon said. I blushed and Gordon said "Is he an inspiration?" he asked. All of us giggled. "Yes chef" I replied. I looked at Troy then he gave me a thumbs up and a smile. I got great reviews aswell. "Great job" Troy said as we high fived. Jack got into the top three aswell. Jack's the winner of this challenge. He got immunity and he chose what we'll make. "Jack earned immunity. And he also chose what you guys will be making." Gordon said. "You will be making delicious, delectable..... macaroons!" Graham said as he brought a plate of macaroons on the table. Great. This is hard to make. We ran to the pantry to get our ingredients. We went back to our stations then started cooking. "Hello Chriz. What are you making?" Gordon asked. "I'm making white chocolate macaroons with chocolate gnash." I said as I mixed the batter. "Great. Use your inspiration" he said as he looked at Troy. "Haha yes chef" I said. I did well on my plating. "5...4...3..2..1! hands up!" Joe said. Whew.. "Big Al! I love your plating. please bring your dish here." Graham said. Al is in top three. The judges love it. Gavin is next. The judges were amazed. Kaylen is next. I'm glad they got great reviews. The three of them went upstairs. "Troy, Chriz, Sarah, Roen, and Gavin. The five of you are safe." Gordon said. Jewels, Tommy, Molly and Dara are in the bottom. "All of you are winners but two of you need to go home...." Gordon said. "The two who will be safe are...." Oh gosh I hope Jewels goes home. "..... Kaylen and Jewels, you are both safe. Molly and Tommy, I'm so sorry but you're going home." Gordon said. They're crying and hugging. Jewels and Dara went up. They hugged the chefs. "Molly, who do you think will win?" Gordon asked Molly. "I think Dara will win." she said. "Tommy, who do you think will win?" he asked. "I think Chriz will win. She's a great chef." he said while smiling at me. I smiled back. Tommy and I are Minecraft buddies. Our competition ended. Again, there are interviews and photo shoots after. After all that, we all went back to our hotel rooms. I took a shower, got dressed for bed then I went to the balcony. I'm reading a cookbook but then I heard a guitar. I looked at Troy's balcony then I saw him tuning his guitar. "Hello Troy. I never knew you can play a guitar!" I said. "Oh haha I just learned how to when I was 11." he said. "Um do you know how to play any song?" I asked. "Um yeah" he said as he strummed his guitar. "I've been trying to do it right. I've been livin a lonely life. I've been sleepin here instead. I've been sleeping in my bed. Sleeping in ny bed. So show me family, all the blood that I would bleed. I don't know where I belong. I don't know where I went wrong. But I can write a song." he sang. I feel my cheeks flare up. He sings like an angel. He's strumming his guitar to the chorus. Oh boy. "I belong with you, you belong with me you're my sweetheart. I belong with you, you belong with me you're my sweetheart." he sang as he stared into my eyes. "Oh Troy that's beautiful!" I said. "Haha thanks" he said with a smile. "You sing like an angel" I said. "Thanks! I know another song!" he said as he started to strum. "Lyin' here with you so close to me. Its hard to fight this feeling when it feels so hard to breathe. Caught up in this moment, caught up in your smile." Oh dang he's singing "Just A Kiss".. I remember our first kiss. He sang more "I've never opened up to anyone. So hard to hold back when I'm holding you in my arms. We don't need to rush this. Lets just take it slow.." I decided to join in with the chorus so the both of us sang : "Just a kiss on your lips in the moonlight. Just a touch of the fire burning so bright. I don't wanna mess this thing up. I don't wanna push too far. Just a shot in the dark that you just might, be the one I've been waiting for my whole life. So baby I'm alright with just a kiss goodnight"  We stared at each other with a smile. "I love you so much Troy." I said. "I love you too." he said. "I'm coming over at your room." I said. I walked out then I came in his room I went to the balcony. I hugged Troy. "I want another song." I said while resting my head on his shoulder. He played "Find Me". "Aww thanks for serenading me Troy. Good night" I said. "Good night." he said as he prepared the ingredients for his dinner. I left his room. I went to the balcony. "Hey Chriz! Wanna eat dinner with me?" Roen said. "Sure dude" I said. I knocked on his door. "Hello! come in!" he said. I sat down at the table. "So what's for dinner?" I asked. "Gnocchi with rack of lambs." he said while handing me a plate. We ate then we cleaned up. "Hey Chriz, wanna play some piano with me?" Roen asked. "Oh sure!" I said. I can play the piano. We sat down at his bed. He dragged the keyboard near. "What are we gonna sing?" I asked. "Jumper" he said. Well that's a friendly song. "I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend you could cut ties with all the lies that you've been living in. And if you do not want to see me again I would understaaaaandd! I would understaaanddd!" we sang as we pressed on the keys. "Hey! mind if I join the band?" I heard a voice from the door. "Come in Troy!" Roen said. "I'll me the guitarist. Roen and Chriz, you'll play the piano." he said. "What are we gonna play?" Roen asked. "Do you know The One That Got Away?" Troy asked us. "Yeah!" we said. We played then Roen sang "Summer after highschool, when we first met, we'd make out in your Mustang to radiohead. And on my 18th birthday, we got matching tatoos." After Roen, Troy sang "We used to steal your parent's liquor then climb to the roof. We'd talk about our future like we had a clue. Never planned that one day, I'd be losing you." I'm the one who's gonna sing the chorus so with all my effort I sang "In another life, I would be your girl. We'd keep all our promises be us against the world. In another life, I would make you stay so I don't have to say you were the one that got away. The one that got away." We only sang until that chorus. "We did great" I said. "Another song?" Troy asked. "Demons by Imagine Dragons?" I asked. "Yeah!" they said. We started playing. This time, I'm the one who's gonna sing the first verse. "When the days are cold and the cards all fold and all the saints we see are all made of gold. When your dreams all fell and the ones we hail are the worst of all and the blood runs stale." Roen sings next. "I wanna hide the truth, I wanna shelter you but with the beast inside, there's no where we could hide. No matter what we breed we still are made of greed this is my kingdom come, this is my kingdom come." he sang. Troy's gonna sing the chorus. "When you feel my heat, look into my eyes. Its where my demons hide, its where my demons hide. Don't get too close. Its dark inside. Its where my demons hide, its where my demons hide."  "Wooohhh guys that was fun!" Troy said. "One last song?" I said. "Sure. You know How To Save A Life?" Roen asked. "Yeah!" we said. Troy sat down then he said "I'll do the beats". Troy is the one who'll sing first. "Step one, you say we need to talk. He walks. You say sit down its just a talk. He smiles politely back at you. You stare politely right on through." I sang next. "Some sort of window to your right, as he goes left and you stay right between the lines of fear and blame you begin to wonder why you came" Roen sings the chorus. Then Troy got back on guitar. "Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend somewhere along in the bitterness and I would have stayed up with you all night. Had I known how to save a life." "THIS NIGHT IS SO AWESOME" Roen said. "I agree!" we replied. "I need to sleep. Thanks for the music guys! I had so much fun. Good night Troy, good night Roen!" I said as Ieft. I went back to my room, brushed my teeth then went to sleep. This night is so musical.
