"Yes. Ofcourse!" I replied gladly, secretly admiring his sunshine face, the grin on my face showed how lucky I felt.
"Yeeeees. My friend!" he said as he raised his hand for a Hi-Five and I did the same. He hung an arm around my shoulder like we were buddies and faced the other who quickly pretended to do something else than trying to eavesdrop.
"[KR] Hey guys! We're friends already!" he exclaimed which made the other boys face us.
"[KR] What? Really? Wow that was fast." They were all surprised.
"Yeeeeeah we're friends." He told them and we both hi-fived again. My smile never left my face, I was happy with thought that they were trying to make friends with me.
"Y/n, me too! Me too!" they all raised their hands like students wanting to get their teacher's attention. But before I could answer any of them, Hoseok interrupted.
"[KR] Yah! You should ask her properly like I did. [EN] you no good friend" he defended. The others seemed disappointed and scattered to do other stuff than talk to us. Hoseok and I went to sit in the sofa and talked about random stuff but we were getting to know each other along the way.3RD PERSON POV
Before y/n came for today, PD-nim had called a meeting with the boys in his office. There they sat as they eagerly waited for him to speak.
"I have a mission for you." he finally spoke. "I want you to talk with Y/n, the new staff. I actually gave her a task to keep some secret information from you and it's your task to get that information from her." They all just nodded, unable to protest even though they don't have any idea how to do it.
"You have three days to do it." he continued and they all groaned in pressure. "And for motivation, I'm giving a reward to the first person who could tell me the secret." But they were pressured even more. PD-nim just smiled to their reaction.
1ST PERSON POV
Our conversation didn't end even It is lunch time already, we were surprisingly getting along despite the 'language barrier' and he even 'taught' me some words. It would be the case if I was really incapable of speaking their language, which is just an act.
Unfortunately, Hoseok had something to do with the choreographer and I thought I would be left alone to do some unnecessary cleaning or arranging but before I could sulk, Namjoon approached me."Y/n!" he called as he smiled and attacking me with his dimples.
"Hey RM!" I smiled back.
"You and JHope are close already! Are you sure you can't speak Korean?" he joked and let out a cute laugh. As distracting as his dimples are, his question made me froze for a while even though it was meant for a joke.
"I know right." I laughed along but I hope the awkward tone didn't seem obvious.
"uhm, I actually want to tell you that, I hope we didn't creep you out..." he trailed
"No! No, ofcourse not!" waving my hands as a sign of protest. And he did that cute laugh again. His dimples were so deep, I almost got sucked in.
"Thanks. It's just... all of us wanted to be friends with you but the others are not as brave as JHope did. So in behalf of the others, I want to ask you if it's okay, to have dinner with us later." He said.
"Dinner?" I asked, wanting to clarify.
"Yes, later after we finish today" he explained "if it's okay with you"
"Of course! Yes, I would love to" I replied and his face brightened as if he can be brighter than he already is."Okay." He smiled. "so, uhm, do you like working here?" he asked. And our long conversation started. Just like what Hoseok and I were talking about but Namjoon sometimes ask questions that may lead to deep conversations if it was just you two and were on a food tent, drinking soju and reflecting in life. He could also say words that could enlighten me even with the smallest and simplest problem I'd unnecessarily mention. It was such a good day I almost forgot about the micro cam attached on my glasses earlier. Nevertheless, I can't wait for dinner.
The boys were called out again to do some work which made Namjoon and I end our conversation. The Makeup artist unnies didn't have to come for work today and most of my friends in the staff were busy selecting outfits and other things the boys needed. Today I was assigned for the boys' personal things; basically I'm just a walking reminder so they won't forget anything behind.
